EUROPA 2020 (Ancient postal routes) stamp set on cover from North Macedonia

Série EUROPA 2020 (Anciennes routes postales) sur lettre de Macédoine du Nord

Le 8 mai 2020, la poste de Macédoine du Nord a mis en circulation un timbre et un bloc-feuillet dans le cadre des séries EUROPA, dont le thème cette année était consacré aux anciennes routes postales ("Стари поштенски рути" en macédonien). 
Ce timbre (144 MKD, tirage : 8000), imprimé en feuillet de 9 timbres, et ce bloc-feuillet numéroté (144 MKD, tirage : 5000) ont été utilisés sur la lettre ci-dessous envoyée le 31 octobre 2023 depuis Skopje, la capitale.
Le timbre EUROPA est consacré à un bas-relief romain représentant un attelage ("Voyage vers le monde souterrain") emmuré aujourd'hui dans l'église du village de Maria Saal en Autriche, lieu de pèlerinage connu pour son sanctuaire de Sainte-Marie.
Ce bas-relief, qui semble constituer la plus ancienne représentation d'un transport postal (?), a été découvert dans une tombe de l'ancienne cité romaine de Virunum (Carinthie, sud de l'Autriche). 
On May 8, 2020, the North Macedonian Post put into circulation a stamp and a souvenir sheet as part of the EUROPA series, the theme of which this year was dedicated to ancient postal routes ("Стари поштенски рути" in Macedonian).
This stamp (144 MKD, print run: 8,000), printed in a sheetlet of 9 stamps, and this numbered souvenir sheet (144 MKD, print run: 5,000) were used on the cover below sent on October 31, 2023 from Skopje, the capital.
The EUROPA stamp is dedicated to a Roman bas-relief representing a carriage ("Journey to the underworld") walled up today in the church of the village of Maria Saal, Austria, a place of pilgrimage known for its St Mary's sanctuary. 
This bas-relief, which seems to constitute the oldest representation of a postal transport (?), was discovered in a tomb in the ancient Roman city of Virunum (Carinthia, southern Austria).

A noter que ce même bas-relief figure également sur des timbres EUROPA 2020 émis par la Bosnie-Herzégovine (HP Mostar), Monténégro, Bulgarie et Slovénie.
Je ne sais pas exactement à partir de quel document ancien le timbre du bloc-feuillet a été conçu mais il semble représenter 3 messagers postaux (couronnés ?) à cheval. Les marges de ce bloc-feuillet reproduisent une partie de la célèbre table de Peutinger (13ème siècle), une copie d'une ancienne carte romaine où figurent les routes et les villes principales de l'Empire romain, avec une représentation ici de la région historique de Macédoine à l'époque.
Curieusement, le logo EUROPA n'est pas correct sur le timbre et dans la marge supérieure du b;oc-feuillet, la boîte aux lettres stylisée (présente sur le timbre isolé) étant manquante... 
To note that this same bas-relief is also featured on EUROPA 2020 stamps issued by Bosnia-Herzegovina (HP Mostar), Montenegro, Bulgaria and Slovenia.
I don't know exactly from which old document the souvenir sheet's stamp was designed but it seems to represent three (crowned?) postal messengers on horseback. The margins of this souvenir sheet reproduce part of the famous Peutinger Table (13th century), a copy of an old Roman map showing the main roads and towns of the Roman Empire, with a representation here of the historical region of Macedonia at the time.
Curiously, the EUROPA logo is not correct on the stamp and in the top margin of the souvenir sheet, the stylized letterbox (present on the isolated stamp) being missing...
