Série "Jeux olympiques Paris 2024" sur FDC de Moldavie
Depuis sa première série consacrée aux jeux olympiques d'été (Barcelone en
1992), la poste moldave avait déjà émis des timbres évoquant
la lutte ou le tir à l'arc, en 1992, 1996, 2000, 2012 et 2021.
Le 26 juillet 2024, premier jour des jeux olympiques de Paris 2024 (33ème olympiade) organisés du 26 juillet au 11 août 2024, la poste moldave a mis en circulation 2 timbres
illustrant à nouveau ces 2 disciplines sportives.
Conçue par Eugeniu Verebceanu à partir d'illustrations de Iurii Palcov, cette série figure sur le FDC officiel ci-dessous (tirage : 400), avec TAD Premier Jour de Chișinău (MD-2012). Merci beaucoup Nicolae !
Le nouvel emblème du comité national olympique et sportif moldave ainsi que la mention "Paris 2024" (sans le logo officiel de ces jeux) figurent sur ces 2 timbres.
Since its first series dedicated to the Summer Olympics (Barcelona in 1992), the Post of Moldova had already issued stamps devoted to wrestling or archery, in 1992, 1996, 2000, 2012 and 2021.
On July 26, 2024, the first day of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games (33rd Olympiad) organized from July 26 to August 11, 2024, the Post of Moldova put into circulation two stamps illustrating again these two sports disciplines.
Designed by Eugeniu Verebceanu from illustrations by Iurii Palcov, this series is present on the official FDC below (print run: 400), with First Day cancellation from Chișinău (MD-2012). Thank you very much Nicolae!
The new emblem of the Moldovan National Olympic and Sports Committee and the mention "Paris 2024" (without the official logo of these games) appear on these two stamps.
Ces 2 timbres (5,20 L - tirage : 160000 et 12 L - tirage : 40000) ont été imprimés chacun en feuillet de 10 timbres.
A Paris, la délégation moldave est composée de 26 athlètes (14 hommes,
12 femmes) engagés dans 10 sports : athlétisme, judo, tir à l'arc, lutte, natation, équitation, canoë-kayak, tir, tennis de table et haltérophilie.
Au 8 août 2024, 2 athlètes moldaves ont déjà obtenu des médailles, le bronze en judo (Denis Vieru, Adil Osmanov) et d'autres ont encore de grandes chances dans des épreuves de canoë-kayak (Serghei Tarnovschi en particulier en C-1) et de lutte (avec 7 athlètes de très haut niveau).
Attendons la fin de ces jeux mais la Moldavie pourrait obtenir le meilleur résultat de son histoire olympique et sa première médaille d'or !

In Paris, the Moldovan delegation is composed of 26 athletes (14 men, 12 women) engaged in 10 sports: athletics, judo, archery, wrestling, swimming, equestrian, canoeing, shooting, table tennis and weightlifting.
As of August 8, 2024, two Moldovan athletes have already won medals, bronze in judo (Denis Vieru, Adil Osmanov) and others still have a good chance in canoeing (Serghei Tarnovschi in particular in C-1) and wrestling (with 7 very high-level athletes).
Let's wait until the end of these games but Moldova could obtain the best result in its Olympic history and its first ever gold medal!
