Merci beaucoup Olivier pour cette jolie lettre envoyée le 20 juillet 2019 depuis la ville de Luxembourg, affranchie en partie avec le timbre (0,95€) émis le 7 mars 2017, consacré au 100ème anniversaire des apparitions de Notre-Dame de Fátima au Portugal !
Pour rappel, ce timbre a en fait été mis en circulation sous la forme d'un bloc-feuillet commun entre les administrations postales du Luxembourg, de Pologne, de Slovaquie et du Portugal.
La Vierge Marie serait en effet apparue à 3 jeunes bergers à Fátima, petit village du centre du Portugal, à 6 reprises au cours de l'année 1917 (entre le 13 mai et le 13 octobre).
Le site de ces apparitions a été transformé en sanctuaire marial et est aujourd'hui un centre mondial de pèlerinage. Cette dévotion à la Vierge de Fátima, très populaire parmi la population portugaise, s'est répandue dans le monde entier, et au Luxembourg en particulier où vit une importante communauté portugaise.

As a reminder, this stamp was actually put into circulation in the form of a joint souvenir sheet between the postal administrations of Luxembourg, Poland, Slovakia and Portugal.
The Virgin Mary would have indeed appeared to three young shepherds in Fátima, a small village in central Portugal, six times during the year 1917 (between 13 May and 13 October).
The site of these apparitions has been transformed into a Marian sanctuary and is today a world center of pilgrimage.
This devotion to the Virgin of Fátima, very popular among the Portuguese population, has spread throughout the world, and in Luxembourg in particular where a large Portuguese community is living.
Olivier a complété son affranchissement avec un timbre courant (tarif permanent domestique "L50g" - 0,80€ actuellement) pour atteindre le tarif en cours pour un envoi jusqu'à 50g vers l'Europe (1,05€).
Ce timbre fait partie d'une série de 3 timbres (gravés par Martin Mörck et imprimés en France par Phil@poste) émise le 3 mars 2015 à l'occasion du 60ème anniversaire du Grand-Duc Henri, chef de l'état depuis 2000.
Les 3 TADs ci-dessus évoquent la 26ème édition du festival international de la Bande Dessinée organisé les 20 et 21 juillet 2019 à Contern, une localité située à l'est de la capitale, Luxembourg.
En 25 ans, ce festival est devenu une référence dans cette Grande Région (France, Luxembourg, Belgique, Allemagne), pour les amateurs de bandes dessinées, les auteurs (une cinquantaine sont présents chaque année) ou les revendeurs.
Ce TAD représente une partie de l'affiche de ce 26ème festival, conçue par son président d'honneur, le dessinateur français Pascal Bresson (né en 1969).

This postmark represents a part of the poster of this 26th Festival, designed by its honorary president, the French illustrator Pascal Bresson (born in 1969).
