Le 21 juin 2019, la poste coréenne a mis en circulation 2 nouveaux timbres dans le cadre de sa série consacrée à des personnalités coréennes contemporaines, des chanteurs populaires des années 1940 à 1960 en particulier, Baek Seol-hee et Hyeon In.
Ces 2 timbres (380 won, conception : Ryu, Ji-hyeong) ont été imprimés par Royal Joh. Enschedé dans une même feuille composée de 16 timbres (8 de chaque).
J'ai eu la chance de recevoir les 2 plis Premier Jour ci-dessous concernant respectivement les 2 timbres de cette série, avec TAD de Nambusan. Merci beaucoup Ji-Ho !
Alors que la musique a toujours été très appréciée en Corée en tant que reflet de son époque et source d'espoir et d'inspiration, la musique pop coréenne a atteint un niveau totalement différent ces dernières années en tant que phénomène mondial et première exportation du secteur de la création.
On June 21, 2019, the Korean Post issued two new stamps as part of its series dedicated to Modern Korean Figures, popular singers from the 1940s to 1960s in particular, Baek Seol-hee and Hyeon In.
These two stamps (380 won, design: Ryu, Ji-hyeong) were printed by Royal Joh. Enschedé in the same sheet composed of 16 stamps (8 of each).

Baek Seol-hee et Hyeon In sont des chanteurs pop coréens de la première génération qui ont été de véritables amis et la voix du peuple en ces temps sombres et turbulents allant de la période d'occupation japonaise à la guerre de Corée et aux turbulences de la modernisation qui ont suivi.
Baek Seol-hee (1927-2010), sur le timbre ci-dessus, était une chanteuse aimée pour sa voix haute et cristalline. En 1949, sa performance en tant qu'actrice principale dans la comédie musicale "Carmen Fantasy" la propulse sous les feux de la rampe. Sa célébrité a commencé grâce à une chanson intitulée "Les jours du printemps qui défilent dans mon esprit" dans laquelle sa voix aiguë exprimait délicatement le chagrin dans les paroles.
Par la suite, elle a publié d'innombrables chansons à succès, telles que "The Riverside Hill Where the Waterfowl Cries", "America Chinatown", "Farewell Sorrowand Seven Daughters"...

Baek Seol-hee (1927-2010), on the stamp above, was a beloved singer for her high and crystalline voice. In 1949, her performance as lead actress in the musical "Carmen Fantasy" propels her into the limelight. Her celebrity began with a song entitled "The Spring Days Flit Through My Mind" in which her high-pitched voice delicately expressed the sorrow within the lyrics.
Subsequently, she has published countless hit songs, such as "The Riverside Hill Where the Waterfowl Cries", "America Chinatown", "Farewell Sorrowand Seven Daughters" ...
Hyeon In (1919-2002) était un chanteur qui apaisait la douleur et la nostalgie des gens de la classe ouvrière avec ses chansons des années 1940 aux années 1960.
Il a étudié la musique vocale au Japon et son style unique a grandement influencé le monde de la musique pop coréenne.
Avec des chansons à succès telles que "Lucky Seoul", "Raining Gomoryeong" et "Hometown from Thousand Miles Away", Hyeon In est devenu un chanteur populaire.
Pendant la guerre de Corée, il joua pour les troupes et sa popularité augmenta régulièrement avec des chansons telles que "Good Night Comrade", "Indias Incense" et "Be Strong Geumsun".
