EUROPA 2010 stamps from Italy

Comme les années précédentes, la poste italienne a émis, le 7 mai 2010, deux timbres dans le cadre de la série EUROPA ayant pour thème les livres pour enfants ("Libri per l'infanzia" en italien).
Ces 2 timbres figurent sur la lettre ci-dessous postée le 9 juillet 2010 de la ville de Bari. Merci beaucoup Giovanni :-)
Le timbre à 0,60€ évoque le célèbre personnage de Pinocchio, héros du classique de la littérature pour enfants "Les Aventures de Pinocchio" écrit par l'italien Carlo Collodi (1826-1890). Pinocchio, une marionnette en bois créée par Geppetto, a la particularité d'avoir le nez qui s'allonge à chaque mensonge...
As in previous years, the Italian Post has issued on May 7, 2010, two stamps as part of the EUROPA series devoted this year to children's books ("Libri per l'infanzia" in Italian).
These two stamps are included on the letter below posted on July 9, 2010 in the city of Bari. Thank you very much Giovanni :-)
The € 0.60 stamp evokes the famous character Pinocchio, the hero of the classic children's book "The Adventures of Pinocchio" written by Italian Carlo Collodi (1826-1890). Pinocchio, a wooden puppet created by Geppetto, has the particularity of having the nose that extends at every lie...

Pinocchio est représenté sur ce timbre sous la plume du dessinateur de bande dessinée italien Benito Jacovitti (1923-1997).
Le timbre à 0,65€ évoque un autre personnage, plus récent et très connu des enfants italiens, la souris Geronimo Stilton, héros principal d'une série de livres pour enfants créée en 2000 par l'auteure italienne Elisabetta Dami (née en 1952).
Geronimo Stilton, à la fois journaliste (il est rédacteur en chef de "L'Echo du rongeur" !), écrivain et détective, vit à Sourisia (appelée "Topazia" en italien), capitale de l'île des Souris, évoquée dans le fond sur ce timbre.

The € 0.65 stamp is refering to another character, more recent and well known by Italian children, the mouse Geronimo Stilton, hero of a series of children's books created in 2000 by the Italian author Elisabetta Dami (born in 1952 ).
Geronimo Stilton, both journalist (he is editor in chief of "The Rodent's Gazette" !), writer and detective, lives in New Mouse City (called "Topazia" in Italian), the capital city of Mouse Island, featured in the background on this stamp.
