After more than one year of preparation, a team of 10 amateur radio opeartors landed on March 29, 2016 on the Juan de Nova island (located in the Mozambique Channel), one of the five entities of the district of the Scattered Islands in the Ocean Indian, being part of the French Southern and Antarctic Lands (TAAF), a French overseas territory.
On this occasion, the TAAF postal administration has released a special prepaid envelope (permanent validity for a shipment up to 20 g to the world - currently € 1.24) including the mention "Amateur radio Expedition Juan de Nova March-April 2016" in French.
I do not know the print run and the exact date of issue of this envelope but its first postal use from Juan de Nova island took place on April 1, 2016.

It is that envelope I was lucky to receive above, with cancellations dated April 10, 2016 from this Juan de Nova island.
The stamp to the right was printed from the design of one of the two stamps of the souvenir sheet issued on November 6, 2014, devoted to the 60th anniversary of the first amateur radio transmission from Tromelin island, also part of these Scattered islands in the Indian Ocean.
That stamp especially evoked the French expedition FT4TA composed of 7 operators who stayed on Tromelin Island from 30 October to 10 November 2014.
Some of these operators were present on Juan de Nova island for this new expedition FT4JA from 28 March to 15 April 2016 (the mention FT4JA is include on the screen in front of the operator on that stamp, replacing the initial FT4TA mention).
Compared to the original stamp, that stamp has lost its nominal value (€ 0.66 replaced by "Postage Paid"), its 2014 year as well as the mention "1954-2014".
The other stamp (aerial view of the Juan de Nova island) is inspired by one of the five stamps of the souvenir sheet issued in 2007 to mark the attachment of the Scattered Islands in the Indian Ocean to the TAAF.
