25th anniversary of Moldova's Declaration of Independence - new FDC

The Post of Moldova (Poşta Moldovei) had already issued several stamps dedicated to the country's declaration of independence, in 2001 (10th anniversary), 2006 (15th anniversary) or 2011 (20th anniversary).
On August 27, 2016, a new souvenir sheet (consisting of 3 stamps) was put into circulation this time to commemorate the 25th anniversary of this Declaration of Independence (mention "25 de ani de la proclamarea Independenţei Republicii Moldova" printed with a golden ink in the top margin).
Thank you very much Nicolae for this beautiful official FDC (print run : 400), with cancellation from Chișinău (MD-2012), regarding this souvenir sheet !

Designed by Vitaliu Pogolşa, this souvenir sheet (print run : 50,000) is composed of 3 stamps recalling the colors of the national flag, including images of the impressive popular demonstrations in Chișinău before this declaration of independence.
Following the failure of the Soviet coup d'état, the parliament of the Republic of Moldova officially proclaimed the country's independence on August 27, 1991, immediately recognized by Romania (internationally recognized after the country's accession to the UN on March 2, 1992).
The stamp on the right (red background, L 5.75) includes a key sentence of this Declaration of Independence : "...The Republic of Moldova is a sovereign, independent and democratic state, free to decide its present and future...".

The stamp on the left (blue background, L 1.75) includes the first verse of the Moldova's national anthem ("Limba noastră", "Our language") adopted in 1994 : "A treasure is our language that surges From deep shadows of the past, Chain of precious stones that scattered All over our ancient land".
The 3rd stamp in the middle (yellow background, L 11.00) represents the coat of arms of the country (adopted in 1990), consisting of a golden eagle and a shield including an aurochs' head.
The original text of this Declaration of Independence was destroyed during the protests that shook the country on April 2009. An official ceremony was held on April 26, 2010 attended by 230 members of the first official Parliament elected in 1990 for a session of re-signing of this declaration...
This August 27, 2016, the Post of Moldova also put into circulation a 2nd special postmark (on the other side of this envelope above, to the right) devoted to the 1000th stamp issued since 1991 (L 11.00 stamp of this souvenir sheet) with the mention "A 1000-a marcă poștală a Republicii Moldova".
