La 88ème édition d'Antwerpfila, le salon international du timbre et des monnaies pour tous les collectionneurs (amateurs ou professionnels), était organisé à Anvers (Antwerpen en flamand), ville la plus peuplée de Belgique (Région flamande) les 5 et 6 avril 2019.
La poste belge bpost était bien sûr présente mais aussi la Deutsche Post qui commercialisait une enveloppe pré-timbrée spéciale (3 timbres "Portrait de Charles V par Titien" et illustration montrant le monument du peintre Antoine van Dyck à Anvers) ainsi qu'une oblitération dédiée avec mention de la ville de Bonn (siège social de la Deutsche Post).
Cette oblitération a été appliquée sur la lettre ci-dessous, affranchie avec un timbre (0,90€), émis le 13 septembre 2018, faisant partie de la série (débutée en 2015) intitulée "Micromondes" ("Mikrowelten"). Merci beaucoup Axel !
The 88th edition of Antwerpfila, the international stamp and coins fair for all collectors (amateurs and professionals), was organized in Antwerp (Antwerpen in Flemish), the most populous city in Belgium (Flemish Region) on April 5th and 6th. 2019.
The Belgian Post bpost was of course present but also the Deutsche Post which marketed a special prepaid envelope (3 "Portrait of Charles V by Titian" stamps and illustration showing the monument of the painter Anthony van Dyck in Antwerp) as well as a dedicated cancellation with mention of the city of Bonn (Deutsche Post's headquarters).
This cancellation was applied to the letter below, franked with a stamp (€ 0.90), issued on September 13, 2018, being part of the series (started in 2015) entitled "Microworlds" ("Mikrowelten"). Thank you very much Axel!
Ce timbre (conception : Andrea Voß-Acker) représente une vue microscopique (grossie 400 fois) d'une fibre de carbone ("Kohlenstofffasern").
Les timbres de cette série ont été conçus à partir de photographies de "KAGE Mikrofotografie" et son Institut pour la photographie scientifique, précurseur de ce type de photographie en Allemagne, utilisant depuis plus de 40 ans des microscopes modernes pour transformer des microcosmes en œuvres d'art photographiques.
Le TAD ci-dessus est consacré à la célèbre Grand-Place ("Grote Markt") située dans le centre historique d'Anvers, avec les maisons de guilde à droite, l'hôtel de ville et la fontaine Brabo à gauche.
La statue au sommet de cette fontaine représente le légendaire soldat romain Silvius Brabo brandissant et jetant la main de Druon Antigoon, un géant qui demandait un important péage à tous ceux qui voulaient remonter le cours de l'Escaut (les mains des récalcitrants étaient tranchées)...
This stamp (design: Andrea Voß-Acker) represents a microscopic view (magnified 400 times) of a carbon fiber ("Kohlenstofffasern").
The stamps in this series have been designed from photographs by "KAGE Mikrofotografie" and its Institute for scientific photography, a precursor of this type of photography in Germany, using for over 40 years modern microscopes to transform microcosms into photographic works of art.
The cancellation above is dedicated to the famous Grand Place ("Grote Markt") in the historic center of Antwerp, with the guild houses on the right, the City Hall and the Brabo fountain on the left.
The statue at the top of this fountain represents the legendary Roman soldier Silvius Brabo brandishing and throwing the hand of Druon Antigoon, a giant who exacted a toll from those crossing the river Scheldt (the hands of the recalcitrant were sliced) ...
