Environ 400 espèces d'oiseaux sont recensées au Kirghizstan, beaucoup d'entre eux étant rares et protégés par l'état (57 sont inclus dans le Livre Rouge de la République kirghize).
Trois espèces incluses dans ce Livre Rouge sont à l'honneur sur une nouvelle série (4 timbres) mise en circulation le 22 mai 2018 par la Kyrgyz Express Post (KEP), le 2ème opérateur postal désigné du Kirghizstan, intitulée "Oiseaux du Kirgizstan".
J'ai eu la chance de recevoir le splendide FDC officiel ci-dessous (tirage : 400) envoyé en recommandé depuis Bichkek concernant cette série complète, conçue par Daria Maier et imprimée en Moldavie par Nova Imprim.
About 400 species of birds are recorded in Kyrgyzstan, many of them are rare and protected by the state (57 are included in the Red Book of the Kyrgyz Republic).
Three species included in this Red Book are in the spotlight on a new series (4 stamps) put into circulation on May 22, 2018 by the Kyrgyz Express Post (KEP), the 2nd designated postal operator of Kyrgyzstan, entitled "Birds of Kyrgyzstan".
I was lucky enough to receive the beautiful official FDC below (print run: 400) sent by registered mail from Bishkek concerning this complete series, designed by Daria Maier and printed in Moldova by Nova Imprim.
Ces 4 timbres (tirage : 8000 chacun), splendides, comportent le logo de "Birdlife international", une ONG fondée en 1922 pour la protection de la nature, des oiseaux en particulier.
Ces 4 timbres mettent à l'honneur les espèces suivantes : bec-d'ibis tibétain (Ibidorhyncha struthersii), sittelle des rochers (Sitta tephronota), grue demoiselle (Anthropoides virgo), une des plus petites espèces de grues, et Grand-duc d'Europe (Bubo bubo), une espèce vivant sur un très grand espace (de l'Europe de l'ouest à l'Asie de l'est en passant par l'Asie centrale).
Les 3 autres espèces sont caractéristiques de cette région d'Eurasie dont le Kirghizstan fait partie.
A noter qu'aucune de ces 4 espèces n'est considérée comme menacée par l'Union internationale pour la conservation de la nature (UICN).
These 4 stamps (print run: 8,000 each), splendid, include the logo of "Birdlife International", an NGO founded in 1922 for the protection of nature, birds in particular.
These 4 stamps are devoted to the following species: Ibisbill (Ibidorhyncha struthersii), Eastern Rock Nuthatch (Sitta tephronota), Demoiselle Crane (Anthropoides virgo), one of the smallest species of cranes, and Eurasian Eagle-Owl (Bubo bubo), a species living in a very large area (from Western Europe to East Asia via Central Asia).
The other 3 species are characteristic of this region of Eurasia of which Kyrgyzstan is a part.
To note that none of these 4 species are considered threatened by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
Ces 4 timbres ont été émis chacun dans un élégant feuillet composé de 5 timbres + 1 vignette représentant l'oiseau en plus grand (cf ci-dessus).
A noter que chacune des 4 vignettes inclut le logo de la "Kyrgyz Wildlife Conservation Society (KWCS)", le partenaire de "Birdlife international" au Kirghizstan, qui a collaboré avec la KEP pour cette émission.
Ce logo représente un bec-d'ibis tibétain, déjà à l'honneur sur un de ces timbres.
These 4 stamps were each issued in an elegant minisheet of 5 stamps + 1 coupon representing the bird in larger (see above).
It should be noted that each of the 4 coupons includes the Kyrgyz Wildlife Conservation Society (KWCS)'s logo, the partner of Birdlife International in Kyrgyzstan, who collaborated with KEP for this stamp issue.
This logo is featuring an ibisbill, already in the spotlight on one of these stamps.
Ces 4 timbres ont également été émis dans le même bloc-feuillet ci-dessus (tirage : 2000 blocs-feuillets) avec également le logo de la "Kyrgyz Wildlife Conservation Society (KWCS)" dans la marge en bas à gauche.
These 4 stamps were also issued in the same souvenir sheet above (print run: 2,000 souvenir sheets) with alo the logo of the Kyrgyz Wildlife Conservation Society (KWCS) in the lower left margin.
La Kyrgyz Express Post a également mis en circulation le même jour la série de 4 cartes-maximum ci-dessus (tirage : 300 chacune), numérotées de 26 à 29, concernant ces 4 timbres.
The Kyrgyz Express Post also put into circulation the same day the series of 4 maxicards above (print run: 300 each), numbered from 26 to 29, regarding these 4 stamps.
