A noter cet intéressant TAD bicolore avec la date en rouge et les autres mentions "Cameroon Postal Services", "Courrier 1", "500 - Kribi" ainsi que le logo de la poste camerounaise (CAMPOST) en noir.
Comme de nombreux pays africains, la politique d'émission des timbres n'est pas très claire au Cameroun où il semble qu'aucun nouveau timbre n'ait été mis en circulation depuis 2015...
En 2014, seulement 2 séries (2 timbres chacun) ont été émises, consacrées à des projets de la poste camerounaise, le projet "E-Post - Data Center" et "EMS - L'Express de CAMPOST".

Like many African countries, the policy of issuing stamps is not very clear in Cameroon where it seems that no new stamp has been in circulation since 2015...
In 2014, only 2 series (2 stamps each) were issued, devoted to projects of the Cameroonian Post, the project "E-Post - Data Center" and "EMS - L'Express by CAMPOST".
Le timbre ci-dessus (250 francs CFA) fait partie de la série émise le 21 juillet 2014, consacrée à ce projet "E-Post - Data Center".
Ce projet concerne la réalisation de la construction d'un réseau informatique et des télécommunications en vue du raccordement des bureaux de poste à la fibre optique ou par liaisons sans fil, et de la construction d'un data center, de l'interconnexion des 234 bureaux de poste du pays, de leur dotation en équipement technologique et matériel et de la formation du personnel afin d'accroître la productivité de la CAMPOST et la rendre plus compétitive.
Pour la réalisation de ce projet, le gouvernement du Cameroun a signé un accord avec la Chine, en particulier pour la construction du Data Center illustré sur le timbre.
The stamp above (250 CFA Francs) is part of the series issued on July 21, 2014, dedicated to this "E-Post - Data Center" Project.
This project concerns the construction of a computer network and telecommunications for the connection of post offices to fiber optic or wireless links, and the construction of a data center, the interconnection of the 234 post offices of the country, their equipment with material and technology and training the staff for an increase productivity of CAMPOST and render them more competitive.
For the realization of this project, the government of Cameroon signed an agreement with China, in particular for the construction of the Data Center illustrated on the stamp.
