"Nelson Mandela 1918-2018" joint souvenir sheet on cover from Algeria

On July 18, 2018, the Nelson Mandela International Day, several African countries issued a souvenir sheet on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of "Madiba", Nelson Mandela (1918-2013), probably the most prominent political figure of the last century in the world, freedom fighter, reconciler and model for several generations of South Africans.
Nelson Mandela, Nobel Peace Prize winner in 1993 for jointly and peacefully ending the apartheid regime and laying the foundations for a new democratic South Africa, committed himself from an early age to the equality of rights of the majority of the black population of his country.
Despite 27 years of imprisonment, he continued to fight for a non-racist, united and democratic South Africa. In 1994, Nelson Mandela was elected the first black president of South Africa.

The Algerian Post has respected this date of July 18, 2018 to put into circulation this souvenir sheet (portrait of Nelson Mandela, Nelson Mandela Foundation), used to frank the cover above, sent on December 5, 2018 from the village of Bouhanche Beni Ahmed (Jijel). Thank you very much Zine!
Algeria was considered as his second homeland, having contributed to the formation and financing of the ANC in its anti-apartheid actions. South Africa was excluded from the United Nations in 1974 on the proposal of Algeria, and Nelson Mandela's first visit abroad after his 27 years in prison was for Algeria in 1990 where he declared "Algeria made the man I am today"...
It should be noted that the Algerian stamp (100 dinars) contains only mentions in Arabic and that the lower margin refers to the Pan African Postal Union (PAPU, founded in 1980, with headquarters in Arusha, Tanzania), at the initiative of this joint issue.
Unless I am mistaken, among the 45 members of PAPU, only 12 other countries issued similar stamps and/or souvenir sheets in 2018: Burkina Faso, Central African Republic, Djibouti, Gambia, Kenya, Liberia, Libya, Niger, Sierra Leone, Togo, Tunisia and South Africa.
Ireland, Monaco, India, Germany, Brazil or the United Nations (Geneva office) also issued stamps dedicated to Mandela in 2018.
