Le pape François, né Jorge Mario Bergoglio à Buenos Aires, en Argentine, a été élu pape le 13 mars 2013 (premier jésuite et premier sud-américain à occuper cette fonction) suite à la démission du pape Benoît XVI. Il a choisi "François" comme nom pontifical en l'honneur de Saint François d'Assise. 
Son pontificat fut marqué par l'humilité et la simplicité. Défenseur infatigable de la justice sociale et du dialogue interreligieux, il fut l'initiateur de vastes réformes.
Profondément engagé dans la protection de l'environnement, la promotion de la solidarité et la résolution pacifique des conflits, il laissa le souvenir d'un pape proche du peuple. 
Le pape François est décédé le lundi de Pâques 21 avril 2025, à l'âge de 88 ans, dans sa résidence de la Maison Sainte-Marthe, au Vatican. Il a été inhumé le 26 avril 2025 dans la basilique Sainte-Marie-Majeure à Rome.  
Au cours de son pontificat, le pape François a effectué 47 visites pastorales hors d'Italie, sans toutefois se rendre en Espagne.

De nombreuses administrations postales (Wallis-et-Futuna, Tunisie, Slovénie, Saint-Marin, Kazakhstan, Moldavie, Nations Unies, Philippines, Namibie, Inde, Émirats Arabes Unis, Belarus, Maroc, Serbie, Monaco, Pérou, Slovaquie, Pakistan, Algérie...) ont émis des timbres en 2025 consacrés au 80ème anniversaire de la création des Nations Unies, reproduisant le logo officiel de cet anniversaire (pour certaines) et parfois son slogan associé, "Construisons notre avenir ensemble". 
Pour rappel, 51 pays ont fondé l'Organisation des Nations Unies en 1945 suite à la ratification de la Charte des Nations Unies à San Francisco le le 24 octobre 1945.  
Le 23 octobre 2025, la poste péruvienne a mis en circulation un timbre (2,60 PEN, tirage : 5000, conception : Marco Antonio Quispe Yalli) consacré à ce 80ème anniversaire des Nations Unies.
Ce timbre en forme d'éventail, symbolisant l'ouverture, la coopération et la diversité - des valeurs qui inspirent l'action des Nations Unies à travers le monde, a été utilisé à droite sur la lettre ci-dessous envoyée le 10 décembre 2025 depuis la ville de Chimbote. Merci beaucoup César !

César a utilisé 3 autres timbres dont un (4 PEN, tirage : 5000), émis le 9 octobre 2024, consacré au 150ème anniversaire de l'UPU.
Le timbre au milieu à gauche (4 PEN, tirage : 5000), émis le 4 octobre 2024 dans le cadre des célébrations du 200ème anniversaire de l'indépendance (étalées entre 2021 et 2024, année du 200ème anniversaire des batailles de Junín et d'Ayacucho, qui ont consolidé l'indépendance du Pérou), rend hommage aux rabonas, des femmes qui accompagnaient les soldats d'infanterie.
Généralement d'origine indigène, elles s'étaient engagées volontairement pour la guerre afin d'aider les soldats, qui étaient le plus souvent leurs maris, leurs frères ou d'autres membres de leur famille. Elles étaient chargées de transporter les provisions, de préparer les repas et de prendre soin des soldats, ainsi que de leur prodiguer les premiers soins s'ils tombaient au combat, et même de prendre les armes pour combattre à leurs côtés.  
Le dernier timbre (4 PEN, tirage : 5000), émis le 7 octobre 2024, est consacrée à une orchidée (Comparettia moroniae), découverte en 2007 par la Péruvienne Ériça Morón et son époux près de Tingo María, dans le département de Huánuco, au Pérou. 
Peru has actively participated in peacekeeping operations since 1958. These UN-supported missions deploy troops and police forces to conflict zones. Peru currently has 251 military personnel and 16 members of the National Police deployed in six peacekeeping missions, ranking it 40th among the largest contributors of uniformed personnel to UN missions. Its largest contribution is to the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA), featured on this stamp.

The stamp in the middle left (4 PEN, print run: 5000), issued on October 4, 2024, as part of the celebrations for the 200th anniversary of independence (spanning 2021 to 2024, the year of the 200th anniversary of the battles of Junín and Ayacucho, which consolidated Peru's independence), pays tribute to the rabonas, the women who accompanied infantry soldiers.
Generally of indigenous origin, they volunteered for the war to help the soldiers, who were most often their husbands, brothers, or other family members. They were responsible for carrying supplies, preparing meals, and caring for the soldiers, as well as providing first aid if they fell in battle, and even taking up arms to fight alongside them.
The last stamp (4 PEN, print run: 5000), issued on October 7, 2024, is dedicated to an orchid (Comparettia moroniae), discovered in 2007 by the Peruvian Ériça Morón and her husband near Tingo María, in the department of Huánuco, Peru.

Merci beaucoup Jens pour cette jolie lettre envoyée le 6 décembre 2025  depuis le village de St. Nikolaus (D-66351 - commune de Großrosseln), situé dans le sud du Land de Sarre, près de la frontière française !
Depuis 1966, ce village dispose d'un bureau de poste de Noël ("Nikolauspostamt"), ouvert cette année entre le 4 et le 24 décembre 2025.
Saint-Nicolas, ou Nicolas de Myre, est un évêque né au 3ème siècle en Lycie (Anatolie), renommé pour sa charité et sa foi combattive. A l'origine du personnage du Père Noël, Saint-Nicolas est aujourd'hui le protecteur de nombreuses nations et de nombreux corps de métiers, fêté le 6 décembre.
Comme les années précédentes, un TAD spécial (conception : Geo Müller) a été mis en circulation (représentant Saint-Nicolas avec des enfants et un bonhomme de neige) et il a été appliqué le jour de la Saint-Nicolas sur cette lettre !

Le timbre à gauche (0,95€, conception : Thomas Steinacker à partir du programme d'intelligence artificielle générative DALL-E) est un des deux timbres de Noël ("Weihnachten") émis le 3 novembre 2025, représentant ici un paysage enneigé baigné d'une lumière du soir, une forêt et des animaux.
L'autre timbre de Noël, ci-dessus à droite (0,95€ + 0,40€), conçu par Gerda M. Neumann und Horst F. Neumann, reproduit une scène de la Nativité (naissance de Jésus dans l'étable près de Bethléem) telle qu'elle est figurée sur un vitrail de la chapelle Nicolas-Gallus à Ratisbonne. 
Les trois auréoles de couleurs différentes sont particulièrement saisissantes. Malheureusement, aucune information n'existe concernant l'âge du vitrail, son créateur ou l'atelier verrier concerné...
More than 35,000 children's letters were received last year at this post office in St. Nikolaus.
The stamp on the left (€0.95, designed by Thomas Steinacker using the DALL-E generative artificial intelligence program) is one of two Christmas ("Weihnachten") stamps issued on November 3, 2025, depicting here a snowy landscape bathed in evening light, a forest, and animals.
The other Christmas stamp, above right (€0.95 + €0.40), designed by Gerda M. Neumann and Horst F. Neumann, reproduces a scene from the Nativity (the birth of Jesus in the stable near Bethlehem) as depicted in a stained-glass window in the Nicholas Gallus Chapel in Regensburg.
The three halos of different colors are particularly striking. Unfortunately, no information exists regarding the age of the stained glass window, its creator, or the glass workshop involved... 

"World champions Nika and Domen Prevc" stamps on cover from Slovenia

En Slovénie, le saut à ski est bien plus qu'un sport. C'est un état d'esprit, une émotion, un moment partagé où l'on retient son souffle, où l'on s'élève aux côtés du sauteur et où l'on admire avec une immense fierté ce petit pays démontrer une fois de plus sa place au sommet de l'élite mondiale du saut à ski – une place qu'il occupe depuis des décennies. 
La saison 2024-2025 a été à nouveau remarquable pour le saut à ski slovène, en particulier lors des championnats du monde de Trondheim en 2025 où Nika Prevc et Domen Prevc, frères et sœurs, ont été doubles champions du monde, respectivement en petit tremplin et grand tremplin et en grand tremplin et par équipe.
Le 26 septembre 2025, la poste slovène a mis en circulation 2 timbres en leur honneur, afin de célébrer ces exploits de Nika Prevc et Domen Prevc sur le toit du monde.
Ces 2 timbres (conception : Mario Petrak, tirage : 25000 chacun), imprimés dans un même feuillet composé de 6 timbres (3 paires), ont été utilisés sur la lettre ci-dessous envoyée le 5 janvier 2026 depuis Kranj, la ville d'où est originaire la famille Prevc. Merci beaucoup Petra ! 
Ski jumping is much more than a sport in Slovenia. It is a way of thinking, a feeling, a shared moment when we hold our breath, when we soar alongside the jumper and watch with deep pride as our small country demonstrates once again why it belongs at the very pinnacle of the world ski jumping elite – where it has been for decades.
The 2024-2025 season was another remarkable one for Slovenian ski jumping, particularly at the 2025 World Championships in Trondheim, where siblings Nika Prevc and Domen Prevc became double world champions, respectively in the normal hill and large hill events, and in the large hill and team events.
On September 26, 2025, the Slovenian Post issued two stamps in their honor, to celebrate Nika Prevc and Domen Prevc's achievements on the roof of the world.
These two stamps (designed by Mario Petrak, print run: 25,000 each), printed in a single sheetlet of six stamps (three pairs), have been used on the cover below, sent on January 5, 2026, from Kranj, the Prevc family's hometown. Thank you so much, Petra!  

Nika Prevc (née en 2005), représentée sur le timbre à gauche (tarif "C" pour un envoi standard international - 1,96€ actuellement), a été la grande star de la saison 2024-2025. Avec 15 victoires, dont dix consécutives, deux médailles d'or aux championnats du monde et un deuxième gros globe de cristal, elle est devenue un symbole d'excellence sportive.
Le point culminant de son hiver a eu lieu à Vikersund en mars, lorsqu'elle a établi le record du monde féminin en vol à ski avec un saut de 236 mètres.
L'autre timbre (tarif "D" pour un envoi ordinaire international 1ère classe - 2,21€ actuellement) est consacré à Domen Prevc (né en 1999), double champion du monde. A Planica, le lieu de prédilection des slovènes pour le saut à ski, devant un public conquis sur le tremplin des Frères Gorišek, il a réalisé un incroyable saut de 254,5 mètres, nouveau record du monde.
Domen Prevc a été aussi vainqueur du globe de cristal de vol à ski 2025 et vainqueur de la Tournée des quatre tremplins 2025-2026.
A noter que leur frère, Peter Prevc, avait déjà été aussi honoré sur des timbres émis respectivement en 2016 (champion du monde de vol à ski et vainqueur du gros globe de cristal en saut à ski) et 2022 (champion olympique par équipe mixte).
Nika Prevc (born in 2005), featured on the stamp on the left (rate "C" for standard international mail - currently €1.96), was the undisputed star of the 2024-2025 season. Domen Prevc also won the 2025 Ski Flying Crystal Globe and the 2025-2026 Four Hills Tournament.
It's worth noting that their brother, Peter Prevc, had already been honored on stamps issued in 2016 (Ski Flying World Champion and Ski Jumping Crystal Globe winner) and 2022 (Olympic Mixed Team Champion). 

"Orchids 2025" charirty stamp set on cover from Luxembourg

Série de bienfaisance "Orchidées 2025" sur lettre du Luxembourg 

Le 25 novembre 2025, la poste du Luxembourg a mis en circulation la 4ème et dernière partie (4 timbres) d'une série de bienfaisance illustrant différentes espèces d'orchidées locales parmi les plus remarquables.
Conçus à partir de photographies de Marianne Majerus, ces 4 timbres (tirage : 75000), imprimés chacun en feuillet de 10 timbres, ont été utilisés sur la lettre ci-dessous envoyée le 18 décembre 2025 depuis Luxembourg, la capitale. 
A noter cet élégant TAD spécial illustré "Joyeux Noël" incluant différentes décorations d'arbres de Noël. 
On November 25, 2025, the Luxembourg Post issued the fourth and final part (four stamps) of a charity stamp set illustrating some of the most notable indigenous orchids in Luxembourg.
Designed using photographs by Marianne Majerus, these four stamps (print run: 75,000), each printed in sheetlets of ten, have been used on the cover below, sent on December 18, 2025, from Luxembourg, the capital.
To note this elegant special "Merry Christmas" ("Joyeux Noël") illustrated postmark, which includes various Christmas tree decorations. 

L'épipactis à larges feuilles (Epipactis helleborine - 2,40€ + 0,30€) est l'espèce d'épipactis la plus fréquente au Luxembourg et colonise de préférence les forêts et leurs lisières.
Également présente en forêt, la grande listère (Neottia ovata - 2,40€ + 0,15€) se caractérise par ses deux grandes feuilles remarquables, presque opposées, qui constituent un signe distinctif évident. En revanche, l'orchis tacheté (Dactylorhiza maculata - 1,70€ + 0,15€) pousse dans des habitats bien différents : présente dans les prairies humides et les pelouses calcaires, l'espèce est connue pour sa capacité de croisement avec des espèces de Dactylorhiza très proches afin de donner naissance à des hybrides.
Sur les pelouses sèches et ensoleillées, l'épipactis pourpre noirâtre (Epipactis atrorubens - 1,20€ + 0,10€) exerce un attrait particulier. Son délicat parfum de vanille attire de nombreux pollinisateurs et en fait un véritable trésor botanique.
The broad-leaved helleborine (Epipactis helleborine - €2.40 + €0.30), the commonest type of helleborine in Luxembourg, can be found in woods and on the edge of woodlands.
The common twayblade (Neottia ovata - €2.40 + €0.15), whose name is derived from the two impressively large leaves that are almost opposite each other and offer a sure means of recognition, can also be found in wooded areas. The heath spotted-orchid (Dactylorhiza maculata - €1.70 + €0.15) prefers a very different environment: it grows in marshes and grasslands and is known for its ability to cross-pollinate with other closely related orchids in the dactylorhiza genus to create hybrids.
In contrast, the dark-red helleborine (Epipactis atrorubens - €1.20 + €0.10) displays its particular attractions in dry and sunny grassy areas. Its delicate vanilla perfume attracts many pollinators and makes it a real botanical treasure.

This stamp simply depicts the emblem of the United Nations and the inscription "1945 - 2025", without the official logo for this 80th anniversary.
Today, the UN has 193 member states. Its main organs are the General Assembly, the Security Council, the Economic and Social Council, the Trusteeship Council, the International Court of Justice, and the Secretariat, headed by the Secretary-General.
The Republic of Moldova became a member of the United Nations on March 2, 1992, a few months after its declaration of independence, and has never been a non-permanent member of the Security Council to date.  

"World Environment Day 2025" stamp on FDC from Republic of Korea

Le 5 juin de chaque année est célébré dans le monde entier comme la Journée mondiale de l'environnement, un moment privilégié pour la communauté internationale afin de réfléchir à l'importance de la protection de l'environnement et de s'unir dans ses efforts.
Cette journée commémorative a été instituée en 1972 lors de la Conférence des Nations Unies sur l'environnement humain à Stockholm, en Suède, et est depuis devenue le plus grand événement environnemental au monde. Chaque année, la cérémonie officielle rassemble des personnalités clés de différents pays, des représentants d'organisations internationales, de nombreuses entreprises et des leaders de la société civile du monde entier, tous réaffirmant leur engagement commun à résoudre les problèmes environnementaux. 
La République de Corée a également démontré son engagement international en faveur de la protection de l'environnement en accueillant avec succès la 28ème cérémonie de la Journée mondiale de l'environnement à Séoul en 1997. 
June 5 of every year is observed globally as World Environment Day, a time for the international community to reflect on the importance of environmental conservation and to participate together in its efforts.
This commemorative day was established in 1972 during the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment held in Stockholm, Sweden, and has since grown into the world's largest environmental event. Each year, the official ceremony brings together key figures from various countries, representatives of international organizations, numerous businesses, and civil society leaders from around the globe, all reaffirming their joint commitment to addressing environmental issues.
The Republic of Korea also demonstrated its international commitment to environmental protection by successfully hosting the 28th World Environment Day ceremony in Seoul in 1997.  

28 ans plus tard, cet événement mondial important s'est tenu à nouveau en Corée en 2025. La cérémonie, qui a eu lieu à Jeju, avait pour thème "Mettre fin à la pollution plastique". Elle visait à favoriser un consensus mondial sur la gravité des problèmes liés au plastique et à renforcer la détermination commune à résoudre ce problème.
Le 5 juin 2025, la poste coréenne a mis en circulation un timbre (430 won, tirage : 528000), conçu par Kim Mihwa et imprimé en feuille de 16 timbres, a été utilisé sur la lettre ci-dessus, avec TAD de Nambusan du 10 juin 2025. Merci beaucoup Ji-Ho !
Ce timbre oppose avec force la beauté sereine et immaculée de la nature, réinterprétée à travers une version moderne de la peinture de paysage traditionnelle coréenne, à la dure réalité d'un environnement ravagé par la pollution plastique. Cette métaphore visuelle nous rappelle avec force l'urgence et l'importance de protéger l'environnement.
De petits gestes au quotidien, comme réduire notre consommation de plastique jetable, privilégier les produits recyclés et réutiliser les matières plastiques, peuvent collectivement engendrer des changements significatifs pour préserver la nature et garantir un avenir durable. 
28 years later, this important global event was held again in Korea in 2025. The ceremony, which took place on Jeju Island, was themed "Ending Plastic Pollution". It aimed to foster a global consensus on the seriousness of plastic-related problems and to strengthen the shared commitment to solving this issue.
On June 5, 2025, the Korean Post issued a stamp (430 won, print run: 528,000), designed by Kim Mihwa and printed in sheet of 16, which was used on the cover above, with postmark from Nambusan dated June 10, 2025. Thank you very much, Ji-Ho!
This stamp powerfully contrasts the serene and pristine beauty of nature, reimagined through a modern interpretation of traditional Korean landscape painting, with the stark reality of an environment suffering under the weight of plastic pollution. This visual metaphor powerfully reminds us of the urgency and importance of protecting the environment.
Small choices in our daily lives, such as reducing disposable plastic use, using upcycled products, and reusing plastic materials, can collectively bring about significant changes to preserve nature and ensure a sustainable future.

Le timbre brodé "Dove of Peace" ("Colombe de la Paix") s'inscrit dans le cadre d'une initiative internationale qui vise à envoyer un signal fort en faveur de la paix et de la cohésion.
La poste de la Barbade fait partie de la dizaine d'administrations postales internationales (Åland, Arménie, Autriche, Barbade, Chypre, Groenland, îles Féroé, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Suisse) qui ont uni leurs forces pour concevoir un timbre exceptionnel, finement brodé avec du fil de polyester recyclé, en collaboration avec les Nations Unies (les 3 bureaux de New-York, Genève et Vienne), l'Union postale universelle (UPU) et le spécialiste autrichien de la broderie Hämmerle & Vogel GmbH & Co KG. 
We all wish to live in peace and yet we are often surrounded by conflict, in ourselves and our communities, or at the global level.
An international initiative is now sending a specific signal with the embroidered "Dove of Peace" stamp, to strengthen awareness of peace and solidarity. 
The Post of Barbados is one of ten international postal administrations (Åland, Armenia, Austria, Barbados, Cyprus, Greenland, Faroe Islands, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Switzerland) that have joined forces to design an exceptional stamp, finely embroidered with recycled polyester yarn, in collaboration with the United Nations (the three offices in New York, Geneva and Vienna), the Universal Postal Union (UPU) and the Austrian embroidery manufacturer Hämmerle & Vogel GmbH & Co KG.  

La version Barbadienne de ce timbre (2.20 BBD, tirage inconnu) a été utilisée sur le FDC officiel ci-dessus avec TAD du 8 décembre 2025.
La colombe, symbole universel de paix, d'espoir et de compréhension, a été délibérément choisie en tant que motif central pour transmettre un message clair par-delà les frontières.
Plus qu'un simple objet de collection en édition limitée, ce timbre se veut également un rappel symbolique : la paix ne va pas de soi, elle exige un effort quotidien et un engagement personnel comparables à la patience et au soin nécessaires à la conception de chaque timbre brodé.
Le timbre "Dove of Peace" envoie un message simple mais puissant, fédérateur au-delà des frontières : la paix commence à petite échelle, avec chaque individu. 
The Barbadian version of this stamp (2.20 BBD, unknown print run) was used on the official FDC above with cancellation of December 8, 2025.
The dove, a universal symbol of peace, hope, and understanding, was deliberately chosen as the central motif to convey a clear message across borders.
More than just a limited-edition collectible, this stamp is also intended as a symbolic reminder: peace is not self-evident; it requires daily effort and personal commitment comparable to the patience and care required to design each embroidered stamp.
The "Dove of Peace" stamp sends a simple yet powerful, unifying message across borders: peace begins with the small gestures made by each of us. 

"70th Anniversary of Membership in the United Nations" stamp set on cover from Laos

La République démocratique populaire lao (Laos) est devenue membre des Nations Unies le 14 décembre 1955. Depuis lors, et pendant de nombreuses décennies, le pays a maintenu une coopération étroite et constante avec le système des Nations Unies, conformément à sa politique étrangère à chaque étape.
Notamment, lors du IVe Congrès du Parti, fin 1986, la politique étrangère a été renouvelée, passant de "Paix, Indépendance, Amitié et Socialisme" à "Paix, Indépendance, Amitié et Coopération", dans le but de promouvoir des relations internationales plus larges et de créer des conditions favorables au développement socio-économique. 
Ce principe demeure aujourd'hui le fondement de la politique étrangère du Laos, reposant sur la recherche d'une coopération ouverte et multiforme. Le Laos a toujours respecté ses obligations et contribué activement aux instances des Nations Unies, notamment en soutenant les efforts de l'ONU pour maintenir la paix et la sécurité, prévenir les conflits et les courses aux armements, promouvoir le désarmement, renforcer les relations entre les pays, accroître la coopération au développement et relever les défis socio-économiques, culturels, environnementaux, humanitaires et relatifs aux droits de l'homme... 
The Lao People's Democratic Republic (Laos) became a member of the United Nations on December 14, 1955. Since then, and for many decades, the country has maintained close and consistent cooperation with the United Nations system, in accordance with its foreign policy at every stage.
Notably, at the Fourth Party Congress in late 1986, the foreign policy was renewed, shifting from "Peace, Independence, Friendship, and Socialism" to "Peace, Independence, Friendship, and Cooperation," with the aim of promoting broader international relations and creating favorable conditions for socio-economic development.
This principle remains the foundation of Laos' foreign policy today, based on the pursuit of open and multifaceted cooperation. Laos has always respected its obligations and actively contributed to United Nations bodies, notably by supporting UN efforts to maintain peace and security, prevent conflicts and arms races, promote disarmament, strengthen relations between countries, increase development cooperation and address socio-economic, cultural, environmental, humanitarian and human rights challenges...  

Le 14 décembre 2025, la poste laotienne a mis en circulation une série (2 timbres) consacrée au 70ème anniversaire de l'adhésion du pays aux Nations Unies.
Ces 2 timbres (7000 LAK, tirage : 4000 chacun, conception : Vongsavanh Damlongsouk) ont été utilisés sur la lettre ci-dessus envoyée le 10 décembre 2025 (4 jours avant la date d'émission officielle...) depuis Vientiane, la capitale. Merci beaucoup Edwin !
Ces 2 timbres ont été également imprimés dans un même bloc-feuillet, en version dentelée et non dentelée (tirage : 1000 chacun, prix de vente : 25000 LAK). 
A noter que depuis le 28 novembre 2025, la poste laotienne accepte les affranchissements en timbres que sur les cartes postales... un sticker doit désormais être appliqué sur les lettres domestiques et internationales, comme sur cette enveloppe avec une valeur de 24000 LAK (les 14000 LAK correspondant aux 2 timbres ne sont pas pris en compte).
Le logo officiel de ce 70ème anniversaire figure sur les 2 timbres, celui à gauche incluant les drapeaux du Laos et des Nations Unies, celui à droite représentant le siège des Nations Unies à New York et le Patuxai, un arc de triomphe érigé entre 1957 et 1969 à Vientiane, à la mémoire des soldats laotiens morts pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale et la guerre d'indépendance contre la France en 1949.
On December 14, 2025, the Lao postal service issued a series (2 stamps) commemorating the 70th anniversary of the country's accession to the United Nations.
These two stamps (7,000 LAK, print run: 4,000 each, design: Vongsavanh Damlongsouk) have been used on the cover above, sent on December 10, 2025 (four days before the official date of issue...) from Vientiane, the capital. Thank you very much, Edwin!
These two stamps were also printed in a single souvenir sheet, in both perforated and imperforate versions (print run: 1,000 each, retail price: 25,000 LAK).
To note that since November 28, 2025, the Lao postal service only accepts postage stamps for postcards; a sticker must now be affixed to domestic and international letters, as seen on this envelope with a value of 24,000 LAK (the 14,000 LAK corresponding to the two stamps are not included).
The official logo for this 70th anniversary appears on both stamps: the one on the left includes the flags of Laos and the United Nations, while the one on the right depicts the United Nations headquarters in New York and the Patuxai, a triumphal arch erected between 1957 and 1969 in Vientiane, in memory of the Lao soldiers who died during World War II and the 1949 War of Independence against France.  

"15th National Games" joint stamp set with Hong Kong and Macau, on cover from China

Série "15èmes Jeux nationaux", commune avec Hong Kong et Macao, sur lettre de Chine 

Organisés tous les quatre ans depuis 1959, les Jeux nationaux de la République Populaire de Chine (Jeux nationaux) constituent le plus grand et le plus prestigieux événement multisports national du pays.
Les 15èmes Jeux nationaux, qui se sont déroulés du 9 au 21 novembre 2025, étaient coorganisés par la province du Guangdong, Hong Kong et Macao. C'était la 3ème fois que le Guangdong accueillait les Jeux nationaux, après 1987 et 2001, et la première fois que les deux régions administratives spéciales de Chine, Hong Kong et Macao, organisaient cet événement. C'était également la première fois dans l'histoire des Jeux nationaux qu'ils étaient coorganisés par plusieurs provinces.
14252 athlètes, représentant chacun une province de Chine ainsi que certaines organisations importantes comme l'Armée populaire de libération, ont participé à cet événement, souvent surnommé les "mini jeux olympiques chinois", engagés dans 34 sports et 419 épreuves. 
Le 9 novembre 2025, les administrations postales de Chine (3 timbres), Hong Kong (4 timbres) et Macao (4 timbres) ont mis en circulation différentes séries consacrées à ces 15èmes Jeux nationaux.
Un feuillet spécial a été imprimé, réunissant ces 11 timbres. 
Held every four years since 1959, the National Games of the People's Republic of China (National Games) are the country's largest and most prestigious national multi-sport event.
The 15th National Games, which took place from November 9 to 21, 2025, were co-hosted by Guangdong Province, Hong Kong, and Macau. This was the third time Guangdong had hosted the National Games, after 1987 and 2001, and the first time that the two special administrative regions of China, Hong Kong and Macau, had organized the event. It was also the first time in the history of the National Games that they had been co-hosted by multiple provinces.
14,252 athletes, each representing a province of China, as well as some major organizations such as the People's Liberation Army, participated in this event, often called the "Chinese Mini Olympics", competing in 34 sports and 419 events.
On November 9, 2025, the postal administrations of China (3 stamps), Hong Kong (4 stamps), and Macau (4 stamps) released different series commemorating these 15th National Games.
A special sheet was printed, featuring all 11 of these stamps.

Ruinan a utilisé 2 autres timbres dont un (1,20 yuan, conception : Shen Jiahong) émis le 16 octobre 2025 (Journée mondiale de l'alimentation) pour commémorer le 80ème anniversaire de la création de l'Organisation pour l'alimentation et l'agriculture (FAO), l'agence spécialisée des Nations Unies qui mène les efforts internationaux vers l'élimination de la faim.
Avec 195 membres, l'obejctif de la FAO (dont le siège est à Rome depuis 1951) est d'atteindre la sécurité alimentaire pour tous et d'assurer un accès régulier et suffisant à une nourriture de bonne qualité permettant à tous, de mener une vie saine et active.
Ce timbre, reproduisant le logo officiel de ce 80ème anniversaire, illustre le thème de la Journée mondiale de l'alimentation 2025 : "Main dans la main pour des aliments et un avenir meilleurs". 
A noter que d'autres pays (Italie, Kirghizstan, Uruguay, Géorgie) ont également émis des timbres en 2025 consacrés à ces 80 ans de la FAO.
Le dernier timbre ci-dessus (1,20 yuan, conception : Li De), émis le 13 octobre 2025, est consacré au Global Leaders' Meeting on Women (organisé à Beijing le 13 et 14 octobre 2025) et au 30ème anniversaire de l'adoption de la Déclaration et du Programme d'action de Beijing.
En 1995, la Chine a en effet accueilli la 4ème Conférence mondiale des Nations Unies sur les femmes, au cours de laquelle la Déclaration et le Programme d'action de Beijing ont été adoptés, marquant une étape importante dans la lutte mondiale pour l'égalité des sexes.
Ce timbre intègre des éléments clés tels que des silhouettes féminines, des pivoines, un globe terrestre et des colombes, formant le chiffre "30".

Ruinan also used two other stamps, including one (1.20 yuan, design: Shen Jiahong) issued on October 16, 2025 (World Food Day) to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the specialized agency of the United Nations that leads international efforts to defeat hunger.
With 195 members, the FAO (headquartered in Rome since 1951) aims to achieve food security for all and ensure regular and sufficient access to good quality food, enabling everyone to lead a healthy and active life.
This stamp, reproducing the official logo for this 80th anniversary, illustrates the theme of World Food Day 2025: "Hand in Hand for Better Foods and a Better Future".
To note that other countries (Italy, Kyrgyzstan, Uruguay, Georgia) also issued stamps in 2025 commemorating this FAO's 80th anniversary.
The last stamp above (1.20 yuan, design: Li De), issued on October 13, 2025, commemorates the Global Leaders' Meeting on Women (held in Beijing on October 13 and 14, 2025) and the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action.
In 1995, China indeed hosted the Fourth United Nations World Conference on Women, during which the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action was adopted, marking a significant milestone in the global fight for gender equality.
This stamp incorporates key elements such as female silhouettes, peonies, a globe, and doves, forming the number "30".  

"90 Years of Diplomatic Relations" joint stamp set with Uruguay, on cover from Romania

Série "90 ans de relations diplomatiques", commune avec l'Uruguay, sur lettre de Roumanie 

Pour célébrer le 90ème anniversaire de l'établissement de relations diplomatiques entre la Roumanie et l'Uruguay, les administrations postales des 2 pays ont mis en circulation, le 5 décembre 2025, une jolie série commune (2 timbres) illustrant des races de chevaux emblématiques, le Lipizzan et le Criollo.
Ces 2 races de chevaux incarnent la tradition, l'adaptabilité, la force et la fidélité, des qualités qui renforcent la coopération entre les deux pays et consolident les liens entre leurs communautés.
La version roumaine de cette série commune (conception : Mary Porto Casas, Mihai Criste, tirage : 27098), avec marge mentionnant le thème de cette émission en espagnol, a été utilisée sur la lettre ci-dessous envoyée le 9 décembre 2025 depuis Bucarest. Merci beaucoup Terence !
Ces 2 timbres ont été imprimés en feuille de 32 timbres, en feuillets de 3 timbres + 1 vignette et dans 2 blocs-feuillets de 2 timbres différents (version perforée et non perforée).  
Le timbre à droite (14 RON) représente un cheval Lipizzan, une race de type baroque, initialement sélectionnée pour la monarchie des Habsbourg au haras de Lipica en Slovénie. Elle est culturellement liée à l'École espagnole d'équitation de Vienne. 
To celebrate the 90th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Romania and Uruguay, the postal administrations of both countries released a beautiful joint series (two stamps) on December 5, 2025, featuring two emblematic horse breeds: the Lipizzan and the Criollo. 
These two breeds embody tradition, adaptability, strength, and loyalty - qualities that reinforce cooperation between the two countries and strengthen the bonds between their communities. 
The Romanian version of this joint set (design: Mary Porto Casas, Mihai Criste, print run: 27,098), with a margin mentioning the theme of this issue in Spanish, was used on the cover below, sent on December 9, 2025, from Bucharest. Thank you very much, Terence!
These two stamps have been printed in sheets of 32, in booklets of 3 stamps + 1 label, and in two different souvenir sheets of two stamps (perforated and unperforated versions).
The stamp on the right (14 RON) depicts a Lipizzan horse, a Baroque-type breed originally developed for the Habsburg monarchy at the Lipica stud farm in Slovenia. It is culturally linked to the Spanish Riding School of Vienna.  

Après la formation de la Grande Roumanie, il fut décidé de rétablir le haras de Lipizzans à Sâmbăta de Jos (1920), jetant ainsi les bases de l'élevage et du développement du Lipizzan roumain. Le haras appartient à l'État roumain et est géré par l'Administration nationale des forêts, Romsilva. 
Appartenant à la famille des chevaux à allures nobles, le Lipizzan réunit un ensemble de qualités raffinées : douceur, intelligence, docilité, tempérament vif, élégance et un goût prononcé pour le mouvement et le travail. Associé au dressage de haut niveau, il apparaît dans des démonstrations équestres et des productions cinématographiques. 
Depuis 2022, les traditions d'élevage des chevaux Lipizzan est un bien (défendu par 8 pays dont la Roumanie) inscrit par l'UNESCO sur la Liste représentative du patrimoine culturel immatériel de l'humanité.
Le Criollo (8 RON), race uruguayenne, descend des premiers chevaux importés dans la Pampa en 1536 par Pedro de Mendoza (lors de la fondation de Buenos Aires). Ils étaient utilisés pour les longs voyages, les travaux agricoles et la chasse. 
Plus de trois siècles plus tard, de nombreux Pur-sang furent introduits en Amérique du Sud, contribuant au développement d'une race caractérisée par son élégance et sa force : le Criollo. Ces chevaux sont actifs, énergiques, agiles, robustes et résistants, et possèdent également courage, loyauté et longévité. Du fait de leurs vastes migrations, cette race de chevaux en liberté a également été influencée par le Lusitanien, un cheval portugais.
A noter également sur ces 2 timbres la présence de fleurs emblématiques des 2 pays : la pivoine (fleur nationale de Roumanie depuis 2022) et le lantanier de Montevideo (Uruguay). 
Following the formation of Greater Romania, it was decided to re-establish the Lipizzan stud farm in Sâmbăta de Jos (1920), thus laying the foundations for the breeding and development of the Romanian Lipizzan. The stud farm belongs to the Romanian state and is managed by the National Forestry Administration, Romsilva.
Belonging to the noble-gaited horse breeds, the Lipizzan brings together a set of refined qualities: gentleness, intelligence, docility, lively temperament, elegance, and an eagerness for movement and work. Associated with high-level dressage, it appears in demonstration shows and in film productions. 
Since 2022, Lipizzan horse breeding traditions have been inscribed by UNESCO on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity (proposed by eight countries, including Romania).
The Criollo (8 RON), a breed of Uruguay, originates from the first horses brought to the Pampas in 1536 by Pedro de Mendoza (when the foundations of the city of Buenos Aires were laid). They were used for long journeys, farm work, or hunting.
More than three centuries later, many Thoroughbred horses were brought to South America, positively influencing the development of a breed characterised by elegance and strength, known as the Criollo breed. Horses of this breed are active, energetic, agile in movement, sturdy and resilient, and to these qualities they add courage, loyalty, and longevity. Owing to their migration across wide areas, the breed of free-roaming horses was also influenced by Portuguese horses, the Lusitano.
Also noteworthy on these two stamps is the presence of emblematic flowers of both countries: the peony (national flower of Romania since 2022) and Lantana montevidensis (Uruguay).

L'imposant bloc-feuillet (3 timbres à 2,45 BRL, conception : Doug Dominicali, tirage : 15000) constitue la série Mercosur émise le 13 décembre 2023, illustrant le thème des jeux d'enfants et en particulier les jeux électroniques. Ce bloc-feuillet évoque une ancienne console de jeux vidéo portable (les boutons à droite sont imprimés en relief).
Les 3 timbres, simulant l'écran de la console, présentent une série d'illustrations représentant des éléments de l'univers du jeu vidéo à travers différentes décennies : joueurs en salle d'arcade, sur ordinateur via Internet, sur console portable et en réalité virtuelle (RV). On y trouve également des clins d'œil comme les pièces du jeu Tetris, se détachant sur un fond à damier grâce à un effet holographique. 
Le timbre à gauche (5,95 BRL, tirage : 96000), émis le 9 octobre 2024 (Journée mondiale de la poste), commémore le 150ème anniversaire de l'Union Postale Universelle (UPU), en reproduisant simplement le logo officiel créé par l'UPU.

The impressive souvenir sheet (3 stamps at 2.45 BRL each, designed by Doug Dominicali, print run: 15,000) is part of the Mercosur series issued on December 13, 2023, illustrating the theme of children's games, particularly electronic games. This souvenir sheet evokes an old portable video game console (the buttons on the right are embossed).
The 3 stamps, simulating the console's screen, feature a series of illustrations representing elements of the video game world across different decades: players using the arcade, playing on the Internet by the computer, playing on portable console, and in virtual reality (VR). There are also playful touches like pieces of the Tetris game, highlighted from the checkered background in a holographic film.
The stamp on the left (5.95 BRL, print run: 96,000), issued on October 9, 2024 (World Post Day), commemorates the 150th anniversary of the Universal Postal Union (UPU), by simply reproducing the official logo created by the UPU.  

Les 3 timbres colorés à droite (tarifs domestiques 1ère, 2ème et 3ème classe, conception : Fabio Lopez, tirage : 72000 chacun), émis le 1er août 2023, constituent la série América-UPAEP, illustrant le thème de la philatélie et des timbres-poste, en particulier le 180ème anniversaire de la première série de timbres émise au Brésil, les célèbres "Œils de bœuf" ("Olho-de-boi" en portugais).
Avec cette série de 3 timbres (30, 60 et 90 réis) émise le 1er août 1843, le Brésil était ainsi le 2ème pays au monde (sans compter les émissions locales suisses) à émettre des timbres, 3 ans après le Royaume-Uni et son Penny Black et 6 ans avant la France et sa Cérès (20 centimes noir) !
Le timbre en haut à gauche (tarif domestique 1ère classe, conception : Lucia TV Ramos, tirage : 1000200) est le timbre América-UPAEP émis le 25 janvier 1997, consacré au thème du facteur ("carteiro"). 
Ce timbre rappelle qu'une lettre est toujours porteuse d'émotions, et lorsqu'on pense à une lettre, on pense au facteur, qui apparaît dans la première image d'une séquence de huit, avec son sourire aimable et bienveillant. Les autres illustrations expriment toute la gamme des sentiments : joie, rêverie, intérêt, euphorie, tristesse, satisfaction, curiosité, autant d'émotions suscitées par la lecture d'une lettre.
Le dernier timbre "Mercosur" en bas à droite (4,30 BRL, conception : Miriam Guimarães, tirage : 240000), émis le 13 mai 2024, illustre le thème des métiers et professions, en particulier le chef cuisinier.
Ce timbre met à l'honneur une profession qui a acquis une grande visibilité au Brésil, représentant deux personnes, un homme et une femme, vêtus traditionnellement du dolman blanc et de la toque blanche. L'œuvre vise à représenter la diversité ethnique et de genre des chefs cuisiniers au Brésil.

The stamp in the top left corner (1st class domestic rate, design: Lucia TV Ramos, print run: 1,000,200) is the América-UPAEP stamp issued on January 25, 1997, dedicated to the theme of the postman ("carteiro").
This stamp reminds us that a letter always carries emotions, and when we think of a letter, we think of the postman, who appears in the first image of a sequence of eight, with his kind and benevolent smile. The other illustrations express the full range of feelings: joy, reverie, interest, euphoria, sadness, satisfaction, curiosity - all emotions evoked by reading a letter.
The last "Mercosur" stamp in the lower right corner (4.30 BRL, design: Miriam Guimarães, print run: 240,000), issued on May 13, 2024, illustrates the theme of trades and professions, in particular the chef.
This stamp celebrates a profession that has gained significant visibility in Brazil, depicting two people, a man and a woman, traditionally dressed in a white dolman and white chef's hat. The artwork aims to represent the ethnic and gender diversity of chefs in Brazil.  

"Queen Marie of Romania, 150th birth anniversary" postmark on postcards from Moldova

La reine Marie de Roumanie (1875-1938) est une figure légendaire qui a joué un rôle clé dans l'histoire de la Roumanie. Surnommée "Mère de la Roumanie", elle a contribué à l'unification du pays (Transylvanie, Bessarabie et Bucovine), fait preuve de courage pendant la Première Guerre mondiale et obtenu une reconnaissance diplomatique lors de la Conférence de paix de Paris.
A l'occasion du 150ème anniversaire de sa naissance (jour pour jour), la poste moldave a mis en circulation, le 29 octobre 2025, un TAD spécial (conception : Eugeniu Verebceanu), appliqué par le bureau principal de Chişinău (MD-2012) sur les 2 cartes postales ci-dessous. Merci beaucoup Nicolae!
Ces 2 cartes (prix de vente : 8 MDL, tirage : 400), consacrées à la reine Marie, ont été mises en circulation a priori le même jour. 
Queen Marie of Romania (1875-1938) is a legendary figure who played a key role in Romanian history. Known as the "Mother of Romania," she contributed to the unification of the country (Transylvania, Bessarabia, and Bukovina), demonstrated courage during World War I, and achieved diplomatic recognition at the Paris Peace Conference.
To mark the 150th anniversary of her birth (to the day), the Post of Moldova put into circulation a special postmark (design: Eugeniu Verebceanu) on October 29, 2025, applied by the main post office of Chișinău (MD-2012) on the two postcards below. Thank you very much, Nicolae!
These two postcards (retail price: 8 MDL, print run: 400), dedicated to Queen Marie, were apparently released on the same day.

Le timbre ci-dessus (15 roubles) a été émis le 3 juillet 1993 dans une série (2 timbres + 1 bloc WWF de 4 timbres) consacrée à la faune protégée et à différentes espèces de serpents en particulier.
Ce timbre est consacré à une couleuvre à collier (Natrix natrix). Sauf erreur, ces timbres en roubles ont été remis en circulation le 1er février 2006 (1 rouble = 1 Leu).

The stamp above (15 rubles) was issued on July 3, 1993, in a series (2 stamps + 1 WWF block of 4 stamps) dedicated to protected wildlife and various snake species in particular.
This stamp is dedicated to a grass snake (Natrix natrix). Unless I am mistaken, these stamps in rubles were put back into circulation on February 1, 2006 (1 ruble = 1 Leu).

L'autre côté de cette carte postale ci-dessous représente la statue de la reine Marie de Roumanie, inaugurée le 27 mars 2025 dans le square du lycée Gheorghe Asachi à Chișinău, qui portait son nom pendant l'entre-deux-guerres.
La cérémonie coïncidait avec le 107ème anniversaire de l'union de la Bessarabie avec la Roumanie, symbolisant ainsi la mémoire historique et les liens culturels entre les deux peuples. 
Cette statue, mesurant plus de 6 mètres de haut et représentant la reine Marie de Roumanie le jour de son couronnement en 1922 à Alba Iulia (une Bible à la main, symbole de sagesse et de foi), a été réalisée en bronze par le sculpteur Veaceslav Jiglițchi, d'après un projet de l'architecte Mihail Andries.

Sepac 2023 (Traditional markets) stamp on FDC from Faroe Islands

Pour rappel, la Small European Postal Administration Cooperation (SEPAC) est une association de petites administrations postales européennes (12 actuellement), créée en 1999, afin de discuter de diverses questions philatéliques et postales spécifiques à ces petites structures.
Depuis 2007 (thème des paysages), des timbres sur un thème commun sont émis par certains membres (9 en 2023, tous sauf Gibraltar, le Vatican et l'île de Man) et une élection du plus beau timbre Sepac est organisée depuis 2010. 
L'administration postales des îles Féroé (Posta) participe à ces émissions Sepac depuis 2007 et a émis, le 11 août 2023, son 14ème timbre Sepac, dont le thème était cette année consacré aux marchés traditionnels. 
Ce timbre (31 DKK) imprimé (en France par Cartor), conçu à partir d'une photographie (auteur : Gjertrud M. Gravesen) faisant partie des collections du Musée national des îles Féroé, montrant une vente de poissons dans la zone portuaire de Vágsbotnur (Tórshavn), figure sur le FDC officiel ci-dessous avec TAD de Tórshavn, la capitale de cet archipel autonome faisant partie du Royaume du Danemark.

The Faroe Islands Postal Administration (Posta) has participated in these Sepac issues since 2007 and issued its 14th Sepac stamp on August 11, 2023. This year's theme was traditional markets.
This stamp (31 DKK), printed in France by Cartor, is based on a photograph (author: Gjertrud M. Gravesen) from the collections of the National Museum of the Faroe Islands, showing a fish sale in the port area of ​​Vágsbotnur (Tórshavn). It is present on the official FDC below, along with a cancellation from Tórshavn, the capital of this autonomous archipelago, which is part of the Kingdom of Denmark. 

Dans un archipel comme les îles Féroé, il n'était pas possible de se déplacer aisément à pied ou en bateau. A première vue, les marchés locaux n'avaient donc pas vraiment leur place ici.
Aux îles Féroé, il était par contre crucial d'avoir une importante réserve de vivres dans son garde-manger, appelé hjallur. Dans les fermes, on confectionnait des produits à base de moutons, de bovins, d'oiseaux de mer, de baleines et de poissons. Les produits alimentaires étaient fermentés ou séchés.
Ce qui se rapprochait ici le plus d'un "marché" était l'unique commerce des îles Féroé aux temps anciens : le Monopolhandelen (commerce monopolistique) de Tórshavn, qui exista jusqu'en 1856.
Il était également habituel que des bateaux des villages situées dans le détroit entre Streymoy et Eysturoy viennent vendre des moules à Tórshavn. Lorsque les grandes baleines ont commencé à être capturées par les baleiniers au début des années 1900, il était courant que ces bateaux viennent vendre de la viande de baleine non seulement à Tórshavn mais aussi dans d'autres localités.
De toute façon, les habitants de Tórshavn étaient habitués à acheter le poisson directement auprès des bateaux de pêche du port. Cette tradition se poursuit à Tórshavn où la municipalité a construit un petit marché couvert dans la zone portuaire animée de Vágsbotnur, où l'on peut acheter du poisson et des produits à base de poisson, ainsi que, certains jours, des légumes et autres produits locaux. 
In an archipelago like the Faroe Islands, it wasn't easy to get around on foot or by boat. At first glance, local markets seemed rather out of place.
However, in the Faroe Islands, it was crucial to have a substantial food supply in one's pantry, called a hjallur. On farms, products were made from sheep, cattle, seabirds, whales, and fish. These food products were fermented or dried.
The closest thing to a "market" here was the sole trade in the Faroe Islands in ancient times: the Monopolhandelen (monopoly trade) of Tórshavn, which existed until 1856.
It was also common for boats from settlements in the strait between Streymoy and Eysturoy to arrive with blue mussels, which were sold in Tórshavn. When whaling ships in the Faroes started catching large whales around the turn of the 20th century, boats were commonly sent from the whaling stations with whale meat for sale, not only in Tórshavn but also in other settlements.
This was in line with the fact that people in Tórshavn used to buy fish directly from fishing boats arriving from fishing grounds. This tradition has been preserved in Tórshavn. In the very busy port area of Vágsbotnur, Tórshavn Municipality has set up a small roofed-over marketplace where you can buy fish and fish products, and also, on special days, locally grown vegetables and other home-made products of various kinds.  

EUROPA 2024 (Underwater Fauna and Flora) stamp set on cover from Albania

Série EUROPA 2024 (Faune et flore subaquatiques) sur lettre d'Albanie 

Comme pour sa série EUROPA 2020 mise en circulation en 2021, sa série EUROPA 2021 émise en 2022, sa série EUROPA 2022 émise en 2023 et sa série EUROPA 2023 émise en 2024, la poste albanaise a finalement mis en circulation le 5 décembre 2025, sa série EUROPA 2024 (1 timbre, 1 bloc-feuillet, 1 carnet) illustrant le thème de la "faune et flore subaquatiques" ("Fauna Dhe Flora Nenujore" en albanais). 
Pour rappel, ce thème choisi par l'association PostEurop en 2024 mettait en lumière la biodiversité des eaux européennes qui souffrent de la surpêche, de la pollution et du changement climatique et qui doivent être protégées pour les générations futures.
Le timbre (250 ALL, tirage inconnu) et le bloc-feuillet (400 ALL, tirage inconnu) composant cette jolie série EUROPA 2024, conçus par Xh. Guga, ont été utilisés sur la lettre  ci-dessous envoyée le 14 décembre 2025 depuis Tirana, la capitale. Merci beaucoup Sabri !

This series illustrates the theme of "underwater fauna and flora" ("Fauna Dhe Flora Nenujore" in Albanian).
As a reminder, this theme, chosen by the PostEurop association in 2024, highlighted the biodiversity of European waters, which are suffering from overfishing, pollution, and climate change, and which must be protected for future generations.

RCC 2025 "Kursk Battle Memorial" stamp on cover from Russia

Timbre RCC 2025 "Mémorial de la bataille de Koursk" sur lettre de Russie 

Pour rappel, certains des 9 pays membres (Azerbaïdjan, Arménie, Bélarus, Kazakhstan, Kirghizstan, Russie, Tadjikistan, Turkménistan, Ouzbékistan) de la Communauté Régionale dans le domaine des Communications (acronyme "RCC" en anglais ou "PCC" en russe) émettent chaque année depuis 2012 des timbres ayant des thèmes communs.
Après les boîtes aux lettres en 2024, les émissions RCC 2025 ont pour thème, sauf erreur, les monuments de la Société historique militaire russe.
Le 23 août 2025, la poste russe a mis en circulation son timbre RCC (80 RUB, tirage : 72000) illustrant en particulier le Mémorial de la bataille de Koursk, dans le cadre des commémorations du 80ème anniversaire de la victoire dans la Grande Guerre patriotique. 
Ce timbre, conçu par S. Kapranov et imprimé en feuillet de 8 timbres avec marges illustrées, a été utilisé à droite sur la lettre ci-dessous envoyée le 24 novembre 2025 depuis Saint-Pétersbourg. Merci beaucoup Youri !  
As a reminder, some of the 9 member countries (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan) of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of Communications (acronym "RCC" in English or "PCC" in Russian) are issuing each year since 2012 some stamps with common themes.
Following the mailboxes theme in 2024, the 2025 RCC stamp issues, unless I'm mistaken, focus on Monuments of the Russian Military Historical Society.
On August 23, 2025, the Russian Post issued its RCC stamp (80 RUB, print run: 72,000) depicting, in particular, the Kursk Battle Memorial, as part of the commemorations of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.
This stamp, designed by S. Kapranov and printed in a sheetlet of 8 stamps with illustrated margins, was used on the right side of the cover below, sent on November 24, 2025, from Saint Petersburg. Thank you very much, Yuri! 

Ce complexe mémorial de la bataille de Koursk, situé dans le village de Ponyri, dans la région de Koursk, présente une sculpture monumentale (sculpteur : A. Korobtsov, architecte : K. Fomin) représentant un soldat soviétique empêchant la fermeture de deux murs imposants ornés d'images de véhicules nazis.
La première phase du complexe a été inaugurée en 2023 lors d'une cérémonie organisée pour commémorer le 80ème anniversaire de la victoire de la bataille de Koursk.
La bataille de Koursk (du 5 juillet au 23 août 1943, plus de 1,1 millions de soldats tués, blessés ou disparus) fut la plus grande bataille de blindés de l'histoire : quelque 6000 chars y ont participé, au côté de 2000000 d'hommes et de 4000 avions. Elle marque la fin du potentiel offensif des Allemands sur le front de l'Est et ouvre la voie aux grandes offensives soviétiques de 1944 et de 1945. 
A noter que ce timbre est également visible en réalité augmentée grâce à l'application mARka.
This Kursk Battle Memorial Complex, located in the village of Ponyri in the Kursk region, features a monumental sculpture (sculptor: A. Korobtsov, architect: K.Fomin) of a Soviet soldier preventing the closure of two imposing walls with images of Nazi vehicles from closing up.
The first phase of the complex was inaugurated in 2023 at a ceremony commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory at the Battle of Kursk.
The Battle of Kursk (from July 5 to August 23, 1943, with over 1.1 million soldiers killed, wounded, or missing) was the largest armored battle in history: some 6,000 tanks participated, alongside 2 million troops and 4,000 aircraft. It marks the end of the German offensive potential on the Eastern Front and paves the way for the major Soviet offensives of 1944 and 1945.

"80th Anniversary of the United Nations" stamp on cover from Serbia

Timbre "80ème anniversaire des Nations Unies" sur lettre de Serbie 

De nombreuses administrations postales (Wallis-et-Futuna, Tunisie, Slovénie, Saint-Marin, Kazakhstan, Moldavie, Nations Unies, Philippines, Namibie, Inde, Émirats Arabes Unis, Belarus, Maroc, Serbie, Monaco, Pérou, Slovaquie, Pakistan, Algérie...) ont émis des timbres en 2025 consacrés au 80ème anniversaire de la création des Nations Unies, reproduisant le logo officiel de cet anniversaire (pour certaines) et parfois son slogan associé, "Construisons notre avenir ensemble". 
Pour rappel, 51 pays ont fondé l'Organisation des Nations Unies en 1945 suite à la ratification de la Charte des Nations Unies à San Francisco le le 24 octobre 1945.
La Yougoslavie fut l'un de ces pays fondateurs et la Serbie est membre des Nations Unies depuis le 1er novembre 2000 lorsqu'elle faisait partie de la République fédérale de Yougoslavie, avec le Monténégro.
L'administration postale de Serbie a mis en circulation, le 24 octobre 2025, un timbre consacré à ce 80ème anniversaire des Nations Unies.

The Serbian postal administration put into circulation, on October 24, 2025, a stamp dedicated to this 80th anniversary of the United Nations.  

Ce timbre (120 RSD, tirage : 15000), conçu par Jakša Vlahović et imprimé en feuillet de 10 timbres, a été utilisé sur la lettre ci-dessus envoyée le 21 novembre 2025 depuis la ville de Novi Sad. Merci beaucoup Dusan ! 
Ce timbre représente le siège des Nations Unies à New-York (en particulier la tour de 39 étages, appelée le Palais de Verre, abritant l'ensemble des bureaux du Secrétariat des Nations Unies) et reproduit l'emblème des Nations Unies et le logo officiel de ce 80ème anniversaire. La construction principale de ce siège commença en 1947, et s'acheva en 1952. Il fut inauguré le 9 janvier 1951.
Aujourd'hui, l'ONU compte 193 états membres. Ses principaux organes sont l'Assemblée générale, le Conseil de sécurité, le Conseil économique et social, le Conseil de tutelle, la Cour internationale de Justice et le Secrétariat, dirigé par le Secrétaire général.
