"Restitution of the Sant Esteve Church Frescoes" s/s on cover from Andorra (French Post)

On February 29, 2024, the Andorran government announced the restitution of two scenes from the wall paintings of the Church of Sant Esteve in Andorra la Vella. These are "The Kiss of Judas" and "The Flagellation of Christ", which had belonged to two private collections held by the same family.
In 1926, the entire set of frescoes had indeed been removed using the technique known as *strappo*.
The announcement regarding the return of these two frescoes (acquired for a sum of 2.75 million euros) came 17 years after the frescoes from Santa Coloma arrived in the country. Thanks to their acquisition by the Andorran government, all the wall paintings from Sant Esteve will now be held by public institutions.
With the exception of "The Flagellation of Christ" and "The Kiss of Judas", the wall paintings from Sant Esteve in Andorra la Vella are currently housed either at the National Art Museum of Catalonia or at the Prado Museum in Madrid.
The Sant Esteve paintings represent a unique example within the Principality of Andorra, in terms of both their subject matter and their style. This style—known as the 13th-century style or the "Croatian style"—is characterized by a more humanized, expressive, and dynamic treatment of forms, marking a transition between the Romanesque and Gothic periods.

Furthermore, the richness of the imagery is enhanced by a pursuit of depth and perspective, lending the entire composition a heightened sense of solemnity. The wealth of detail in the paintings links the Sant Esteve ensemble to European—and particularly Italian—cities that hosted colonies of Byzantine artists; these cities served as conduits for the artistic models that subsequently spread to the Pyrenees region and, by extension, to Andorra.
The two recovered fragments, along with the other scenes making up the ensemble (Saint Luke the Evangelist; The Washing of the Feet; Christ Mocked; The Annunciation to Zechariah; The Sources of the Jordan; and the classical-style acanthus leaf borders), were created using a mixed technique featuring a fresco base on lime mortar.
Given their artistic and stylistic qualities, the recovery of these two fragments marks a significant milestone for Andorra, positioning the country at the heart of the medieval European artistic landscape.
On July 30, 2025, the French Post in Andorra issued an interesting souvenir sheet (print run: 35,000) dedicated to the restitution of these Sant Esteve frescoes; it was used on the cover above, sent from Andorra la Vella on July 2, 2026. Many thanks, Josep!
The two returned frescoes—"The Kiss of Judas" and "The Flagellation of Christ"—are reproduced on the two stamps (€1.39 each), with the Church of Sant Esteve (11th–12th century) featured in the background.

"Folk culture. Esbart Sant Romà d'Encamp" stamp on cover from Andorra (Spanish Post)

Timbre "Culture populaire.

The Spanish Post participated for the first time in the Ulm International Stamp Exhibition ("Internationale Briefmarken-Börse Ulm") in Germany, held from October 23 to 25, 2025.
Like most participating postal administrations, the Spanish Post offered special postmarks to the public, including one for the Spanish Post ("correus espanyols") in the Principality of Andorra.
This postmark was applied to the cover below. Thank you very much, Olivier!
This postmark depicts the imposing facade of St. Paul's Church (consecrated in 1910, architect: Theodor Fischer) in the city of Ulm (Baden-Württemberg), located in southern Germany.
Olivier used the stamp (€1.95, print run: 45,000), printed with an attached label, issued on March 3, 2025, dedicated to folk culture and in particular to Esbart Sant Romà d'Encamp, one of the most representative cultural groups in Andorra, devoted to the promotion and preservation of the folklore and traditional dances of the Principality.

Founded in 1989 in the municipality of Encamp, this group has a long history within the Andorran community and plays a vital role in preserving local cultural traditions, particularly through dance.
Esbart Sant Romà is dedicated to traditional Catalan and Andorran dances, and its repertoire includes folk dances passed down through generations. Over time, it has adapted to evolving customs, always preserving the authenticity of the traditions while incorporating stagecraft and production elements that enrich the cultural experience.
In addition to its performances in the Principality of Andorra, Esbart Sant Romà also participates in international festivals, sharing a part of Andorran history and customs with the world. Every performance by Esbart is an immersion in Andorran culture.
Their dances and costumes reflect the richness of tradition and the values of community, respect, and dedication to folk art. The group not only contributes to the cultural identity of Encamp and Andorra in general, but also fosters a sense of belonging and the transmission of cultural values to new generations.
The stamp was designed using a black and white photograph of the 12th-century Romanesque church of Sant Romà de Les Bons, located in the village of Les Bons (in this parish of Encamp), and features the logo of the Esbart Sant Romà group. The label depicts a trio of dancers belonging to this group practicing "L'Encamp de Gresca", a popular dance that has become the traditional emblem of the Festa del Poble, organized every year in Encamp.

The official logo of these games (a stylized athlete raising his arms, in the colors of the Andorran flag) is reproduced on this stamp, which also depicts a stylized athlete (basketball or basketball 3x3?).
To note that the French Post in Andorra also put into circulation, on May 29, 2025, a souvenir sheet (2 stamps) devoted to this same competition.
Cyprus (108 medals, including 36 gold) dominated this competition, ahead of Luxembourg and Iceland, with Andorra finishing in 6th place with 38 medals (including 13 gold).

"Path of the Lady of Sant Julià de Lòria" s/s on cover from Andorra (Spanish Post)

Legend has it that this Lady was a magical being who lived in a tower in the village of Auvinnyà. This fairy-like creature, usually dressed in white, used her powers to defend her country from invaders. From atop a rock overlooking the valley, the Lady watched over the entrance to Sant Julià de Lòria (a present-day parish located in the south of the Principality of Andorra).
One day, a Saracen king wanted to invade the country, and this supernatural being appeared atop the rock to threaten him with a terrible fate if he continued to advance. He initially left, but soon returned, and the Lady kept her promise by transforming the king into a wolf.
The wolf began to wreak havoc in the village until it was hunted down. Despite this, his spirit possessed the townspeople until the Lady solved the problem with a spell, and everything returned to normal.

The orography of Sant Julià de Lòria perfectly combines the great attractions of modern Andorra: culture, heritage, magnificent landscapes and nature reserves, adventure activities and attractive family leisure activities, not to mention its gastronomy.
The Camí de la senyoreta de Sant Julià de Lòria ("Path of the Lady of Sant Julià de Lòria") is one of the best-known trails in Andorra. Less than two kilometers long and with a positive elevation gain of 370 meters, it is an ideal route for families who want to enjoy the experience of a walk through a Mediterranean forest with views such as those from the Borda de Tolse.
The path ends in Juberri, a small village in the same parish, located on the left bank of the Valira River.
On July 15, 2024, the Spanish Post in Andorra released a lovely numbered souvenir sheet (€4.00, print run: 45,000) from the "Landscapes" series, illustrating in particular this Path of the Lady of Sant Julià de Lòria, used on the cover above, curiously sent on July 17, 2025, from the town of Sant Cugat del Vallès, located in Catalonia. Thank you very much, Josep!
This souvenir sheet shows part of this mountainous path, as well as a wooden sculpture representing this Lady and her legend.

EUROPA 2025 (National Archaeological Discoveries) stamp on covers from Andorra (Spanish Post)

On May 9, 2025 (Europe Day), the Spanish Post in the Principality of Andorra issued a EUROPA stamp illustrating the theme chosen this year by PostEurop: national archaeological discoveries, with a particular focus on the rock carvings of Roc de les Bruixes.
This stamp (€1.85, print run: 47,000) was used on the cover below sent on August 11, 2025, from the capital, Andorra la Vella.
The illustrated postmark represents in particular the Romanesque church of Sant Esteve (12th century) and the Caldea spa resort (1994, parish of Escaldes-Engordany).
These carvings of Roc de les Bruixes ("Witches' Rock" in Catalan) are a group of prehistoric rock carvings dating back to the Bronze Age. With an area of approximately 2 square meters, they are located south of the village of Prats (parish of Canillo). Their discoverers interpret them as a Bronze Age funerary sanctuary and constitute the first trace of writing in Andorra.

These engravings were long neglected by the population, and it was only in 1962 that the scholar Pere Canturri (1935-2015) rediscovered them. During inventories and surveys of places bearing toponyms or legends linked to beliefs and superstitions, he documented the site.
According to technique and subject, the engravings are divided into three groups. The majority group consists of drawings made with a deep V-shaped incision (as in the example illustrated on this stamp).
Some lines appear to be associated with a second group, formed by small bowls or holes pierced using the pecking technique. Both in terms of their period and subject matter, these two sets are comparable to other series of engravings from northern Italy, which are difficult to interpret.
The third group includes drawings made with a fine incision and corresponding to several human figures and a horse, probably from the medieval period.

Popular belief interprets these rock marks as the marks left by the devil's claws during a battle against the medieval witches of Canillo. During a cruel and bloody struggle, the witches drove out the devil who so threatened them. As he fell into the abyss, he left his claws on the wall.
Similarly, the village of Prats began to regard the Roc as a place where witches invoke the forces of evil...
Many thanks Olivier for the other envelope above, including this same stamp, sent on August 20, 2025.

"Games of the Small States of Europe 2025" souvenir sheet on cover from Andorra (French post)

From May 26 to 31, 2025, the Principality of Andorra hosted the 20th edition of the Games of the Small States of Europe (GSSE), a multi-sport competition held every two years, bringing together athletes from nine European countries with populations under one million: Andorra, Cyprus, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, and San Marino.
To note that Andorra was initially scheduled to host this competition in 2021, but it was canceled due to the global Covid-19 pandemic.
Since the first edition of the Games of the Small States of Europe in 1985 (San Marino), Andorra has already hosted this competition in 1991 and 2005.
More than 1,000 athletes participated in these games, competing in 17 sport events (athletics, judo, swimming, tennis, table tennis, shooting, basketball, cycling, volleyball, karate, rugby 7s, gymnastics), with competitions taking place in the seven parishes of the Principality of Andorra.

On May 29, 2025 (general sale), the French Post in Andorra released a souvenir sheet (two €2.10 stamps) dedicated to these Games of the Small States of Europe ("Jocs dels Petits Estats d'Europa" in Catalan).
This souvenir sheet (print run: 35,000) was used on the above cover sent on August 7, 2025, from the capital, Andorra la Vella. Its design was created by the Aymara company, which has also collaborated with these Games on the Olympic torch and other projects.
The official logo of these games (a stylized athlete raising his arms, in the colors of the Andorran flag) appears on each of the two stamps as well as in the lower margin. An athlete and a sportsman raising his arms in victory, in the same graphic style, are depicted on both stamps.
Cyprus (108 medals, including 36 gold) dominated this competition, ahead of Luxembourg and Iceland, with Andorra finishing in 6th place with 38 medals (including 13 gold).
The next edition of these Games of the Small States of Europe will take place in 2027 in Monaco.

EUROPA 2025 (National Archaeological Discoveries) stamp on cover from Andorra (French Post)

Around 150 metres above the Santa Coloma plain is the granite promontory of Roc d'Enclar, which holds a wealth of information about the history and evolution of the Principality of Andorra.
Nowadays, all that remains of the fortified area is the Sant Vicenç d'Enclar Church, the oldest religious building in the country, built in the 8th century. Roc d'Enclar is also the entrance to one of the most ecologically rich spaces in the parish: the Vall d'Enclar.
On May 9, 2025 (Europe Day), the French Post in Andorra put into circulation a unique EUROPA stamp, this year illustrating the theme of National Archaeological Discoveries, particularly objects discovered at the Roc d'Enclar archaeological site.
This stamp (€2.10, print run: 50,004), designed by Xavier Rebés and printed in a sheetlet of nine stamps, was used on the cover below, sent on June 18, 2025, from the capital city of Andorra la Vella.

This stamp depicts two blown glass ointment jars found in the Roc d'Enclar archaeological site during excavations conducted between 1979 and 1982. Small in size, measuring 4 cm in height, this type of jar was used to contain medicinal or cosmetic products such as oils, essences, or perfumes.
The jars were found in burials and date from between the 8th and 10th centuries. Based on their shape (pear-shaped belly and long neck ending in a rounded lip) and their material, it can be concluded that they are of Islamic manufacture, probably from the Emirati period.

Many thanks Olivier for sending the above cover concerning this same EUROPA stamp (with dated corner of March 7, 2025) but with the official First Day cancellation dated May 9, 2025!

"Libourne Philatelic Union/Andorra Section - 50th anniversary" stamp set on FDC from Andorra

Passionate about the rich heritage of the Principality of Andorra, Jean Savina, then president of the Libourne Philatelic Union (UPL), decided to create this "Andorra Section" within this philatelic association in 1975.
Its success exceeded all expectations. With 165 members, it became larger than its parent association, the UPL. The president then proposed that it become independent, under the name of Philandorre, as of January 1, 1977 (an Andorran stamp had been issued in 2017 for its 40th anniversary).
On March 27, 2025 (general sale on March 31, 2025), the French Post in Andorra released a series (two se-tenant stamps) dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the creation of this "Andorra Section" within the Libourne Philatelic Union

These two stamps (€1.39 and €1.00, design: Enric Cardus, print run: 50,004), printed in a sheetlet of 12 stamps (6 pairs), have been used on the envelope above (with the Philandorre logo at the top left), with First Day cancellation. Many thanks, Olivier!
Over the years, this association has been a meeting point for those who appreciate the history, art, and connections represented by stamps, contributing to the cultural heritage of Andorra and the entire region.
The stamp on the left reproduces the cover of the first publications (from May 1975) of this "Andorra Section" of the UPL, including articles by Jean Savina, Guy Oliver, and Gilbert Goudard.
Current views of the monuments featured on this cover are shown on the other stamp: the Grand Port tower at the top, one of the last vestiges of the fortifications that protected Libourne since the Middle Ages, and the church of Sant Joan de Caselles at the bottom, one of the finest examples of the exceptional Romanesque heritage in Andorra (11th and 12th centuries).

"UNESCO - Madriu-Perafita-Claror Valley" stamp on cover from Andorra

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the inscription of the Madriu-Perafita-Claror Valley on the UNESCO World Heritage List, the French Post in Andorra put into circulation, on July 12, 2024, a beautiful stamp illustrating the landscapes of this exceptional Pyrenean natural and cultural site.
This stamp (€1.29, print run: 50,004), designed by Naiara Galdós and printed in a sheetlet of 9 stamps, was used on the cover below, with special postmarks put into circulation as part of the 77th Salon Philatelique d'Automne organized in Paris from November 7 to 9, 2024. Thank you very much Maxim!
The cultural landscape of Madriu-Perafita-Claror Valley offers a microcosmic perspective of the way people have harvested the resources of the high Pyrenees over millennia.

Its dramatic glacial landscapes of craggy cliffs and glaciers, with high open pastures and steep wooded valleys, covers an area of 4,247 ha, 9% of the total area of the principality of Andorra.
It reflects past changes in climate, economic fortune and social systems, as well as the persistence of pastoralism and a strong mountain culture, notably the survival of a communal land-ownership system dating back to the 13th century.
The site features houses, notably summer settlements, terraced fields, stone tracks and vestiges of a specific steelmaking activity: the Catalan Forge.
This territory coincides with the Madriu River basin, which represents almost 10% of the surface area of Andorra, and is distributed between the four parishes of Encamp, Andorra la Vella, Sant Julià de Lòria and Escaldes-Engordany (southeast of the country).

"150 years of the UPU 1874-2024" stamp on FDC from Andorra (Spanish Post)

In 2024, the Universal Postal Union (UPU) celebrated its 150th anniversary. On October 9, 1874, 22 countries gathered to sign the Treaty of Bern, creating the General Postal Union, which would later become known as the Universal Postal Union (from 1878).
150 years later, the UPU now unites the postal networks of 192 member countries, having realized its founders' vision of establishing a single postal territory to serve people everywhere.
The UPU's theme for its 150th year, "150 years of enabling communication and empowering peoples across nations", recognizes this accomplishment, and reinforces its commitment to serve peoples for the decades and centuries to come.
Throughout 2024, the UPU organized a series of events and campaigns in celebration of its rich past, dedicated present and promising future, in particular using the hashtag #UPU150 on social media.

The UPU, a specialized agency of the United Nations (since 1947) headquartered in Bern, Switzerland, is the second oldest international organization after the International Telecommunications Union, and constitutes the main forum for cooperation between global postal sector players.
On October 9, 2024, World Post Day, the Spanish Post in Andorra put into circulation a stamp dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the UPU ("150 anys de l'aniversari de l'UPU" in Catalan).
This stamp (rate "D" for international shipping to the USA, Canada, Japan, Australia up to 20g - currently €2.40, print run: 45,000), printed in a sheet of 25 stamps, was used on the cover above (unfortunately received in very poor condition...) with First Day cancellation from Andorra la Vella.
This stamp reproduces the official logo of this 150th anniversary, created by the UPU, as well as an envelope bearing the UPU emblem.

Paradoxically, the Principality of Andorra is not a member of the UPU, its postal system having been managed by the postal administrations of Spain and France since the UPU Congress in 1929 and the opening of the first French post offices in 1931 (the first Spanish offices having been operational since 1928).

EUROPA 2024 (Underwater Fauna and Flora) stamp on cover from Andorra (Spanish Post)

On May 9, 2024 (Europe Day), the Spanish Post in the Principality of Andorra put into circulation a EUROPA stamp illustrating the theme chosen this year by PostEurop, underwater fauna and flora ("Fauna i flora submarines" in Catalan) in particular the Pyrenean brook salamander.
This large-format stamp (€1.70, print run: 51,000) was used on the cover below sent on July 26, 2024 from the capital, Andorra la Vella.
The illustrated postmark represents in particular the Romanesque church of Sant Esteve (12th century) and the Caldea spa resort (1994, parish of Escaldes-Engordany).

I really love this stamp, printed in a sheet of 15 stamps, including in its left part a notch in the shape of this Pyrenean brook salamander (seen from above), a species with "vulnerable" status according to the IUCN.

The Pyrenean brook salamander (Calotriton asper) is endemic to the Pyrenees mountain range (Spain, Andorra, France), where it lives in mountain lakes, streams and underground caves, between 1000 and 2000 meters above sea level.
Its habitat is an aquatic environment and it needs cold, clean and oxygenated water. It is an eco-indicator of purity, sustainability, viability of natural ecosystems. Its diet is insectivorous.
This amphibian is about 12 cm long (its tail is half its length) and has a spectacular brown coloration with yellow spots on the back and a slightly paler belly, turning orange in males during the breeding season (as is the case on the stamp), from March to June.
Their habits are crepuscular and nocturnal, waiting during the day hidden under stones or among plant remains. During the colder months, they remain in hibernation, reducing their bodily and metabolic activities.
Highly endangered, this delicate and unique animal is in decline due to the loss of its wild habitats and the use of pesticides that pollute its ecosystem.

In the years 1950-51, the "Taxi Rossa" began to transport people. During the month of September, it took customers to Béziers, or Narbonne for the grape harvest. They had about a six-hour journey. After taking customers to the different villages, it returned to the Principality of Andorra the same day, if possible, with other customers.
Around 1953-1955, the Taxi Rossa made the Toulouse-Andorra trip. At first once a week. Then, when there were more customers, it regularly made two trips a week (Tuesday and Saturday).
The stop in Toulouse to pick up customers was at the "Brasserie Victor Hugo". Apart from this regular service, some customers rented the car for private trips (for work or leisure), which allowed them to be accompanied to many cities in the two border countries; but also to go to several European countries such as Italy (Sanremo-Venice-Rome-Milan), Germany, Austria (Vienna), Belgium, Denmark and England.

There were also several trips with Andorran authorities (Syndicature/General Councillors). From the 1980s, and for more than twenty years, the Taxi Rossa transported blood for transfusions from the Purpan hospital (Toulouse) to the hospital in Andorra and vice versa.
The vehicle travelled more than 1.5 million kilometres.
On May 30, 2024, the French Post in Andorra put into circulation a stamp (€2.58, print run: 50,010, design: Orobitg) dedicated to this Taxi Rossa ("red taxi" in Catalan), depicted "flying" over the Pyrenees mountains, used on the cover above with its associated First Day cancellation.
This black vehicle (and not red...), a Mercedes-Benz - model 220 DL - registered 9054, is now part of the collections of the National Automobile Museum in Encamp.

EUROPA 2024 (Underwater Fauna and Flora) stamp on FDC from Andorra (French Post)

Merci beaucoup Olivier !
As a reminder, the theme chosen by the PostEurop association for the EUROPA stamps issued in 2024, underwater fauna and flora ("Fauna i flora submarines" in Catalan) highlights the biodiversity of European waters which suffer from overfishing, pollution and climate change and which have to be protected for future generations.
On May 10, 2024, the French Post in the Principality of Andorra put into circulation a EUROPA stamp illustrating this theme and in particular two species of trout found in rivers and lakes of Andorra.
This stamp (€1.96, print run: 50,010), designed by Itziar Badenas and printed in a sheetlet of 15 stamps with illustrated margins, was used on the First Day cover below. Thank you very much Olivier!

This stamp indeed illustrates two types of fish living in the rivers and lakes of the Principality and which, at one point in their life, live in the sea.
These are the river trout (Salmo trutta fario) and the rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss), two fish from the salmonid family which are born at the beginning of the river systems of the Pyrenees.
When they are young adults, they begin a journey that takes them to the sea, where they spend their adult lives. When they reproduce, they go up the rivers and return to their place of birth to lay eggs and die.
On the stamp we see a young rainbow trout which begins its journey towards the sea, as well as an ancient variety of river trout starting its life cycle in the rivers of Andorra.
To note that rainbow trout is native to North America and its introduction into European biotopes has an unfavorable impact on aquatic fauna because it competes with river trout for the same ecological niches...

“Pep Aguareles” and “Antoni Morell” stamps on cover from Andorra (Spanish Post)

Thank you Josep for this interesting cover from Andorra sent recently (illegible date) from Andorra la Vella, the capital of the Principality!
Josep used two stamps issued by the Spanish Post in Andorra on October 9, 2020 and April 23, 2021, respectively part of series titled "Contemporary Art" and "Personalities".
The stamp on the left (€1.45, mintage: 60,000) is dedicated to contemporary art and photography in particular, paying tribute to the artist Pep Aguareles (1965-2019).
His meticulous and extremely perfectionist work sought to focus on the smallest detail in controlling the exposure and composition of the shot, playing with light, reflections and shadows, to reveal a sometimes abstract, avant-garde photograph, which allowed him to express all his sensitivity in images with a deep poetic charge.
Throughout his life, Pep Aguareles led different artistic projects, the vast majority related to photography but also video art, such as the Paradise Consumer Group, which sought to promote cultural relations between small European states.

The other stamp (€0.70, print run: 55,000) is dedicated to the former diplomat and writer Antoni Morell Mora (1941-2020), considered the father of modern Andorran literature.
Water, wind, stone and time are the four traits with which Antoni Morell drew the identity of the Andorran people, to which he added above all the human person, as an integrator of all those elements that forge its identity.
A deeply humanist intellectual, he has, throughout his life, carried out a deep reflection on society, history and the Andorran people.
His 3 novels "Set lletaníes de mort", "Borís I, rei d'Andorra" and "La neu adversa" constitute an altarpiece on traditional Andorran society, based on the house, the landscape and the harsh high mountain climate, and the subsistence economy.
He was also one of the fathers of the process of "Andorranization" of the Principality and promoted the creation of the National Archives, the National Library and the Institute of Andorran Studies. In 1981 he was appointed Secretary General of the first Government of Andorra and between 2005 and 2010 he was Ambassador of the Principality of Andorra to the Vatican.

EUROPA 2023 (Peace - the highest value of humanity) stamp on FDC from Andorra (Spanish Post)

On the proposal of the Ukrainian Post, the theme chosen by the PostEurop organization for the EUROPA 2023 stamps is "Peace - the highest value of humanity" ("La pau - el valor més important de la humanitat" in Catalan), echoing the aggression of the country by Russia which started on February 2022.
This choice sounds like a reminder of the will that presided over the creation of the European Union in 1950 after the Second World War, summed up by Robert Schuman in a now famous formula: make Europe to make Peace.
To illustrate this 2023 theme, PostEurop organized a competition within the member countries and the Luxembourg Post's "Peace Knot" project (authors: Linda Bos and Runa Egilsdottir - A Designers' Collective) was chosen from among 29 proposals.
This project represents intertwined hearts, and hands with intertwined fingers, inspired by Celtic love knots. The different colors refer to all the countries of the world, united by this new symbol of peace, a kind of society based on cooperation, in which individuals stand together.

On May 9, 2023 (the Europe Day), the Spanish Post in Andorra put into circulation a unique EUROPA stamp, reproducing this common "Peace Knot".
This stamp (€1.65 - print run: 55,000), printed in a sheet of 25 stamps, was used on this cover with First Day cancellation from Andorra la Vella, the capital of the Principality. Thank you very much Olivier!
According to the PostEurop jury report, this "Peace Knot" motif is a visual metaphor for a peaceful society in which cooperation with respect for each other's culture is central.
