Timbre "80ème anniversaire des Nations Unies" sur lettre de Slovaquie
De nombreuses administrations postales (Monaco, Tunisie, Slovénie, Saint-Marin, Kazakhstan, Moldavie, Nations Unies, Philippines, Namibie, Inde, Émirats Arabes Unis, Belarus, Maroc, Serbie...) ont émis ou vont émettre des timbres en 2025 consacrés au 80ème anniversaire de la création des Nations Unies, reproduisant le logo officiel de cet anniversaire (pour certaines) et parfois son slogan associé, "Construisons notre avenir ensemble".
Le 26 juin 2025, la poste slovaque a mis en circulation un timbre (2,60€, tirage : 250000, conception : Adrian Ferda) reproduisant ce logo des 80 ans des Nations Unies.

L'Organisation des Nations Unies (ONU) a été créée le 24 octobre 1945, au lendemain de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, afin d'assurer la paix et la sécurité internationales, de favoriser les relations amicales entre les États et de promouvoir le progrès social et les droits de l'homme.
Many postal administrations (Monaco, Tunisia, Slovenia, San Marino, Kazakhstan, Moldova, the United Nations, the Philippines, Namibia, India, the United Arab Emirates, Belarus, Morocco, Serbia etc.) have issued or will issue stamps in 2025 dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations, reproducing the official logo of this anniversary (for some) and sometimes its associated slogan, "Building our future together".
On June 26, 2025, the Slovak Post issued a stamp (€2.60, print run: 250,000, design: Adrian Ferda) reproducing this logo for the 80th anniversary of the United Nations.
This stamp was used on the cover below, sent on July 11, 2025, from the small town of Rožňavské Bystré (central-eastern Slovakia). Thank you very much, Miloš!
The United Nations (UN) was established on October 24, 1945, in the aftermath of World War II, to ensure international peace and security, foster friendly relations among states, and promote social progress and human rights.
Le document fondateur - la Charte des Nations Unies - a été rédigé par les représentants de 51 pays lors de la Conférence des Nations Unies tenue à San Francisco du 25 avril au 26 juin 1945.
Le diplomate slovaque Ján Papánek, membre de la délégation tchécoslovaque, a contribué à la rédaction finale de la Charte. Aux côtés de Štefan Osuský, vice-président de la Commission de surveillance de la Société des Nations, prédécesseur de l'ONU, ils ont joué un rôle important pour assurer la place de la Slovaquie dans le développement du multilatéralisme.
Aujourd'hui, l'ONU compte 193 états membres. Ses principaux organes sont l'Assemblée générale, le Conseil de sécurité, le Conseil économique et social, le Conseil de tutelle, la Cour internationale de Justice et le Secrétariat, dirigé par le Secrétaire général.
La Slovaquie soutient la coopération internationale et considère l'ONU comme un instrument essentiel pour relever les défis mondiaux. La Slovaquie participe activement à diverses activités de l'ONU, notamment les missions de maintien de la paix, l'aide au développement et la promotion des droits de l'homme.
En 2006-2007, elle a occupé un siège non permanent au Conseil de sécurité des Nations Unies, ce qui lui a permis d'influencer directement les décisions relatives à la paix et à la sécurité internationales. Elle participe également aux programmes des Nations Unies liés au développement durable, à l'aide humanitaire et au renforcement de la démocratie.
The founding document - the United Nations Charter - was drafted by representatives of 51 countries at the United Nations Conference held in San Francisco from April 25 to June 26, 1945.
Slovak diplomat Ján Papánek, a member of the Czechoslovak delegation, contributed to the final drafting of the Charter. Alongside Štefan Osuský, Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Commission of the League of Nations, the predecessor of the UN, they played an important role in ensuring Slovakia's place in the development of multilateralism.
Today, the UN has 193 member states. Its main organs are the General Assembly, the Security Council, the Economic and Social Council, the Trusteeship Council, the International Court of Justice, and the Secretariat, headed by the Secretary-General.
Slovakia supports international cooperation and views the UN as an essential instrument for addressing global challenges. Slovakia actively participates in various UN activities, including peacekeeping missions, development assistance, and the promotion of human rights.
In 2006-2007, it held a non-permanent seat on the UN Security Council, allowing it to directly influence decisions related to international peace and security. It also participates in UN programs related to sustainable development, humanitarian assistance, and the strengthening of democracy.
