Timbre "Culture populaire. Esbart Sant Romà d'Encamp" sur lettre d'Andorre (poste espagnole)
La poste espagnole participait pour la première fois à l'exposition philatélique internationale d'Ulm ("Internationale Briefmarken-Börse Ulm") en Allemagne, organisée du 23 au 25 octobre 2025.
Comme la plupart des administrations postales participantes, la poste espagnole proposait au public des cachets spéciaux, y compris concernant la poste espagnole ("correus espanyols") en Principauté d'Andorre.
C'est ce cachet qui a été appliqué sur la lettre ci-dessous. Merci beaucoup Olivier !
Ce cachet illustre l'imposante façade de l'église Saint-Paul (consacrée en 1910, architecte : Theodor Fischer) de cette ville d'Ulm (Land de Bade-Wurtemberg) située dans le sud de l'Allemagne.
Olivier a utilisé le timbre (1,95€, tirage : 45000), imprimé avec une vignette attenante, émis le 3 mars 2025, consacré à la culture populaire et en particulier à l'Esbart Sant Romà d'Encamp, l'un des groupes culturels les plus représentatifs d'Andorre, voué à la promotion et à la préservation du folklore et des danses traditionnelles de la Principauté.
The Spanish Post participated for the first time in the Ulm International Stamp Exhibition ("Internationale Briefmarken-Börse Ulm") in Germany, held from October 23 to 25, 2025.
Like most participating postal administrations, the Spanish Post offered special postmarks to the public, including one for the Spanish Post ("correus espanyols") in the Principality of Andorra.

This postmark depicts the imposing facade of St. Paul's Church (consecrated in 1910, architect: Theodor Fischer) in the city of Ulm (Baden-Württemberg), located in southern Germany.
Olivier used the stamp (€1.95, print run: 45,000), printed with an attached label, issued on March 3, 2025, dedicated to folk culture and in particular to Esbart Sant Romà d'Encamp, one of the most representative cultural groups in Andorra, devoted to the promotion and preservation of the folklore and traditional dances of the Principality.
Fondé en 1989 dans la commune d'Encamp, ce groupe possède une longue histoire au sein de la communauté andorrane et joue un rôle essentiel dans le maintien des traditions culturelles locales, notamment à travers la danse.
L'Esbart Sant Romà se consacre aux danses traditionnelles catalanes et andorranes, et son répertoire comprend des danses folkloriques transmises de génération en génération. Au fil du temps, il s'est adapté à l'évolution des mœurs, préservant toujours l'authenticité des traditions tout en intégrant des éléments scéniques et de production qui enrichissent l'expérience culturelle.
Outre ses représentations en Principauté d'Andorre, l'Esbart Sant Romà participe également à des festivals internationaux, partageant ainsi un pan de l'histoire et des coutumes andorranes avec le monde entier. Chaque représentation de l'Esbart est une immersion dans la culture andorrane.
Leurs danses et leurs costumes reflètent la richesse de la tradition et les valeurs de communauté, de respect et de dévouement à l'art populaire. Le timbre a été conçu à partir d'une photographie en noir et blanc de l'église Sant Romà de Les Bons, église romane (12ème siècle) située dans le village de Les Bons (dans cette paroisse d'Encamp), et comporte le logo de ce groupe l'Esbart Sant Romà. La vignette représente un trio de danseurs appartenant à ce groupe pratiquant "L'Encamp de Gresca", danse populaire devenue l'emblème traditionnel de la Festa del Poble, organisée chaque année à Encamp.
Founded in 1989 in the municipality of Encamp, this group has a long history within the Andorran community and plays a vital role in preserving local cultural traditions, particularly through dance.
Esbart Sant Romà is dedicated to traditional Catalan and Andorran dances, and its repertoire includes folk dances passed down through generations. Over time, it has adapted to evolving customs, always preserving the authenticity of the traditions while incorporating stagecraft and production elements that enrich the cultural experience.
In addition to its performances in the Principality of Andorra, Esbart Sant Romà also participates in international festivals, sharing a part of Andorran history and customs with the world. Every performance by Esbart is an immersion in Andorran culture.
Their dances and costumes reflect the richness of tradition and the values of community, respect, and dedication to folk art. The group not only contributes to the cultural identity of Encamp and Andorra in general, but also fosters a sense of belonging and the transmission of cultural values to new generations.
The stamp was designed using a black and white photograph of the 12th-century Romanesque church of Sant Romà de Les Bons, located in the village of Les Bons (in this parish of Encamp), and features the logo of the Esbart Sant Romà group. The label depicts a trio of dancers belonging to this group practicing "L'Encamp de Gresca", a popular dance that has become the traditional emblem of the Festa del Poble, organized every year in Encamp.
