Après Séville en 1992, l'Espagne va à nouveau organiser une Exposition internationale à Saragosse(Zaragoza), capitale de l'Aragon dans le nord-est du pays, plus de 600.000 habitants.
La poste Espagnole a émis le 5 juillet 2007 un timbre autocollant commémoratif à 0,58€, représentant le logo officiel et la mascotte de l'Expo.
C'est ce timbre qu'on retrouve sur la lettre ci-dessous, postée de la ville de Cadiz (merci Angel).
After Sevilla in 1992, Spain again will organize an International Exhibition in Saragossa (Zaragoza), capital of Aragon in the North-East of the country, more than 600.000 inhabitants.
The Spanish Post issued on July 5, 2007 a commemorative self-adhesive stamp (0,58€), representing the official logo and the mascot of this Expo.
It is this stamp which one finds on the letter below, posted from the town of Cadiz (thank you Angel).
Le thème de cette Exposition est "l'eau et le développement durable". Elle aura lieu du 14 juin au 14 septembre 2008 sur un terrain de 25 hectares au bord de l'Ebre. Une centaine de pays seront représentés.Le logo reprend logiquement le Z de Zaragoza, sous forme de gouttes d'eau.
La mascotte de l’exposition s'appelle Fluvi, acronyme de "flumen vitae" (fleuve de la vie, en latin). C'est un bonhomme bleu à l’air joyeux et aux yeux noirs, ressemblant un peu à l’extraterrestre E.T !
Il s’agit d’une créature de l’eau, au corps gélatineux et semi translucide, un personnage positif qui nettoie et purifie tout ce qu’il touche, en lui donnant vie.

The theme of this Exhibition is “water and sustainable development”. It will take place from June 14 to September 14, 2008 on a site of 25 hectares at the edge of Ebre river. About a hundred country will be represented.
The logo represents the Z letter of Zaragoza logically, in the form of water drops.
The mascot of the Expo is called Fluvi, acronym of “flumen vitae” (river of life, in Latin).
It's a lively blue figure with big black eyes resembling E.T !
It is a water creature with a semi translucent jelly like body, a positive character which cleans, purifies and gives life to everything it touches.

L'exposition internationale suivante aura lieu à Shanghai, en Chine, en 2010. La France n'a pas organisé un tel évènement depuis l'Exposition textile internationale à Lille...en 1951.
The next international exhibition will take place in Shanghai, China, in 2010. France did not organize such an event since the international textile Exhibition in Lille…it was in 1951.
