Ce soir, un petit message consacré à une lettre postée des Pays-Bas le 6 août 2008. Merci Pierre. A noter la grande taille du cachet de la TNT Post. Cette lettre a en fait été postée depuis le "Postwinkel" Weena 296-298 à Rotterdam. Ouvert au public le 31 mars 2007, il s'agit du 2ème Postwinkel de la TNT Post au Pays-Bas après celui de Nimègue.
Le Postwinkel est un nouveau concept futuriste autour du courrier répondant aux nouveaux besoins des consommateurs dans les grandes villes.

Tonight, a post devoted to a letter mailed from the Netherlands on August 6, 2008. Thanks Pierre. Note the large size of the TNT Post cancellation. This letter has actually been mailed in the Weena 296-298 Postwinkel in Rotterdam. Open to the public on March 31, 2007, it was the second Postwinkel of the TNT Post in the Netherlands after the Nijmegen's one.
A Postwinkel is a new futuristic concept around mailbags in order to respond to the new needs of consumers living in large cities.
Ce concept propose de nombreux produits en libre-service (ce qui permet peut-être de réduire le personnel ?) et des horaires adaptés à la ville (fermeture à 17h le samedi par exemple).C'est donc dans ce Postwinkel, aux tons oranges (forcément !), que le timbre de distributeur à 0,31€ ci-dessus a été imprimé par un des 2 distributeurs ProPostal 2000 de la société allemande Wincor Nixdorf. Ces 2 machines délivrent des vignettes sur lesquelles figurent les codes TNT00003 (comme sur celle-ci) et TNT00004.
La partie gauche du timbre est blanche à l'origine mais l'utilisateur peut choisir d'un imprimer le message "Priority" pour les envois à l'étranger. Le logo de la TNT Post figure en haut, une carte des Pays-Bas en fond et le nom des provinces néerlandaises (?) en microtexte.
Maxim, dans un courrier précédent des Pays-Bas, m'expliquait que la TNT Post souhaitait fermer très prochainement tous les bureaux de postes du pays... je vois à peu près par quoi ils seront remplacés...
This concept offers many products in self-service (allowing maybe to reduce the staff ?) and schedules adapted to the city (close at 17h00 on Saturday, for example).
So it's in this Postwinkel, with orange (inevitably !) colors, that the €0.31 ATM stamp above was printed by one of the two ProPostal 2000 machines of the Wincor Nixdorf German company. These two machines issue ATM stamps that include the TNT00003 (as on this one) and TNT00004 codes.
The left side of the stamp is white originally but the user can choose to print a "Priority" label for mails abroad. The logo of the TNT Post is on the top, a map of the Netherlands in the background and the name of Dutch provinces (?) in microtext.
Maxim, in a previous letter from the Netherlands, explained to me that the TNT Post wanted to close very soon all post offices in the country...I believe that I see about by what they will be replaced...
Autre particularité des Pays-Bas, il n'est désormais plus possible d'acheter des timbres à l'unité...C'est donc le cas du timbre à 0,44€, émis le 20 mai 2008 dans la mini-feuille de 10 timbres ci-dessus (site www.freestampcatalogue.com), célébrant 5 anniversaires différents.
Ce timbre commémore les 10 ans de la Banque Centrale Européenne (BCE) avec une représentation d'une pièce d'un euro et des motifs communs (ponts et bâtiments) figurant sur les billets de banque.
Depuis 1998, la BCE, dont le siège est à Francfort, définit les grandes orientations de la politique monétaire des pays de la zone Euro.
Le luxembourg a également émis cette année un timbre célébrant cet anniversaire. Pas la France. Je ne sais pas s'il y en a d'autres ?
Les autres anniversaires célébrés sur ce bloc sont de haut en bas : Académie royale des arts et des sciences (200 ans), l'indice boursier NYSE AEX (25 ans), la maison d'édition Bruna (140 ans) et le Touring Club royal (125 ans).

It's so the case of the €0.44 stamp, issued on May 20, 2008 in a sheet of 10 stamps above (www.freestampcatalogue.com), celebrating five different anniversaries.
This stamp commemorates 10 years of the European Central Bank (ECB) with a representation of a €1 coin and common bridges and buildings patterns appearing on banknotes.
Since 1998, the ECB which is headquartered in Frankfurt, defines the main directions of monetary policy in the countries of the Euro zone.
Luxembourg also issued a stamp this year celebrating this anniversary. But not France. I don't know if there are other countries ?
The other birthdays celebrated on this sheet are from top to bottom : the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (200 years), the NYSE AEX stock exchange index (25 years), the book chain Bruna (140 years) and the Royal Dutch Touring Club (125 years).
