Le 12 décembre 2017, la poste albanaise (Posta Shqiptare) a mis en circulation une série de 3 timbres consacrée à des personnalités internationales ("figura të shquara ndërkombëtare"), l'allemand Ferdinand Graf von Zeppelin (1838-1917), le français Edgar Degas (1834-1917) et l'autrichien Stefan Zweig (1881-1942).

Conçus par Llazar Taçi, ces 3 timbres ont été respectivement imprimés à 183000 (20 lekë), 3000 (90 lekë) et 73000 (140 lekë) exemplaires.
On December 12, 2017, the Albanian Post (Posta Shqiptare) put into circulation a series of three stamps devoted to distinguished international personalities ("figura të shquara ndërkombëtare"), German Ferdinand Graf von Zeppelin (1838-1917), French Edgar Degas (1834-1917) and Austrian Stefan Zweig (1881-1942).

Ferdinand Graf von Zeppelin (100 ans de sa mort) était un militaire et ingénieur allemand, fondateur de la société Zeppelin et inventeur des aéronefs (ballons dirigeables) qui portent son nom.
L'incendie du LZ 129 Hindenburg en mai 1937 à Lakehurst (USA), a clos définitivement l'histoire des grands dirigeables à usage commercial même si des Zeppelin NT (nouvelle technologie) ont été conçus à partir des années 1990.
Edgar Degas (100 ans de sa mort) a été longtemps considéré comme "le peintre des danseuses" malgré une carrière bien plus diverse (peinture, sculpture, dessin...).
Une de ses œuvres "Danseuses bleues" (1897, musée Pouchkine à Moscou) est reproduite dans le fond sur ce timbre.
Stefan Zweig (75 ans de sa mort) était un écrivain et journaliste dont l'œuvre a été considérablement influencée par Freud, avec un focus permanent sur la psychologie des personnages qu'il met en scène ("Amok" en 1922, "La confusion des sentiments" en 1926...). Affecté par les événements précédant la 2ème guerre mondiale et la montée en puissance du nazisme, il quitte l'Allemagne pour l'Angleterre puis le Brésil où il mettra fin à ses jours en 1942.
Ferdinand Graf von Zeppelin (100 years of his death) was a German general and engineer, founder of the Zeppelin company and inventor of the famous airships bearing his name.
The fire of the LZ 129 Hindenburg in May 1937 in Lakehurst (USA) has definitively closed the history of large airships for commercial use even if some Zeppelin NT (new technology) were designed from the 1990s.
Edgar Degas (100 years of his death) was long regarded as the "painter of the dancers" despite a career much more diverse (painting, sculpture, drawing ...).
One of his works "Blue Dancers" (1897, Pushkin Museum in Moscow) is reproduced in the background on the stamp.
Stefan Zweig (75 years of his death) was a writer and journalist whose work was considerably influenced by Freud, with a permanent focus on the psychology of the characters he staged ("Amok" in 1922, "Confusion"in 1926 ...). Affected by the events preceding the Second World War and the rise of Nazism, he left Germany for England and Brazil, where he ended his life in 1942.
