TAD spécial "Investiture du président Petr Pavel" sur lettre de République tchèque

Le 28 janvier 2023, Petr Pavel l'emporte au second tour de l'élection présidentielle avec une très large avance, le candidat réunissant près de 59 % des suffrages (41% pour Andrej Babiš), pour un taux de participation de 70 %, le plus haut jamais enregistré pour ce type d'élection en République tchèque.
Petr Pavel (né en 1961), contrairement à son prédécesseur Miloš Zeman, a des prises de position résolument europhiles et atlantistes.
Petr Pavel est général d'armée, a été chef de l'État-Major général tchèque entre 2012 et 2015, puis président du comité militaire de l'Organisation du traité de l'Atlantique nord (OTAN) entre 2015 et 2018. 
Le 9 mars 2023, jour d'investiture de Petr Pavel pour ce 1er mandat présidentiel (5 ans), un TAD identique à celui mis en circulation en 2013 et 2018 était proposé par le bureau de poste 12 situé dans le château ("hrad") de Prague où est située la résidence officielle du président de la République tchèque. 
On January 28, 2023, Petr Pavel won the second round of the presidential election with a very large lead, the candidate winning nearly 59% of the vote (41% for Andrej Babiš), for a participation rate of 70%, the highest ever recorded for this type of election in Czech Republic.
Petr Pavel (born in 1961), contrary to his predecessor Miloš Zeman, has resolutely Europhile and Atlanticist positions.
Petr Pavel is an army general, was Chief of the General Staff of the Czech Armed Forces between 2012 and 2015, then chairman of the military committee of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) between 2015 and 2018.
On March 9, 2023, the day of Petr Pavel's inauguration for his first 5-years presidential term, a postmark identical to the ones put into circulation in 2013 and 2018 was proposed by the Post Office 12 located in the Prague Castle ("hrad") where the residence of the President of the Czech Republic is located.

Ce TAD représente le drapeau officiel du Président de la République, incluant les armoiries et la devise nationale "Pravda vítězí" ("la vérité prévaut").
Le timbre (tarif permanent "E" pour un envoi jusqu'à 50g vers l'Europe - 39 CZK actuellement) émis le 22 mai 2019, fait partie de la très jolie série (2 timbres) intitulée "Château de Prague au fil des saisons" représentant une même vue (inhabituelle) du château de Prague, en été et en hiver.
Inscrit au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO, ce site immense (70000 m²) abrite en particulier la cathédrale Saint-Guy ou l'église Saint-Georges dont les tours figurent sur ces 2 timbres, avec également la Tour noire à gauche, faisant partie des fortifications médiévales.
A noter que, contrairement à l'investiture des présidents précédents, la poste tchèque n'a pas émis de timbres courants gravés avec le portrait de Petr Pavel mais un feuillet composé de 10 timbres autocollants (émis le 7 juin 2023) avec le même portrait officiel du nouveau président et différentes couleurs dans le fond.

This postmark represents the official flag of the President of the Republic, including the coat of arms and the national motto "Pravda vítězí" ("Truth prevails").
The stamp (permanent rate "E" for a shipment up to 50g to Europe - 39 CZK currently), issued on May 22, 2019, is part of the very nice series (2 stamps) entitled "Prague Castle in the seasons of the year" representing the same (unusual) view of the Prague castle in summer and winter.
Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this huge castle (70,000 m²) houses in particular the Saint Vitus Cathedral or the St. George's Basilica whose towers are featured on these two stamps, with also the Black Tower on the left, being part of the medieval fortifications.
To note that, contrary to the inauguration of previous presidents, the Czech Post has not issued definitive engraved stamps with the portrait of Petr Pavel but a sheetlet consisting of 10 self-adhesive stamps (issued on June 7, 2023) with the same official portrait of the new president and different colors in the background.
