Joint stamp set "Traditional jewelry" with Ukraine, on FDC from Kyrgyzstan (KEP)

Série commune "Bijoux traditionnels" avec l'Ukraine, sur FDC du Kirghizstan (KEP)

Le 9 décembre 2020, les administrations postales d'Ukraine et du Kirghizstan (Kyrgyz Express Post) ont mis en circulation une très jolie série commune (2 timbres) consacrée à des bijoux traditionnels de chaque pays.
La Kyrgyz Express Post a imprimé cette série (tirage : 5000 pour chaque timbre), conçue par O. Kharuk et S. Kharuk, dans un même feuillet composé de 8 timbres (4 de chaque) et d'une vignette centrale mentionnant cette émission commune (en kirghize et anglais), le thème et incluant les drapeaux des 2 pays. 
Ces 2 timbres figurent sur cet élégant FDC officiel (tirage : 250, conception : Daria Maier) avec TAD de Bichkek.
Les bijoux ont toujours joué un rôle important dans les cultures de diverses nations. Outre sa fonction esthétique, les bijoux ont également eu une signification particulière dans le domaine spirituel. 
On December 9, 2020, the postal administrations of Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan (Kyrgyz Express Post) put into circulation a very nice joint series (2 stamps) dedicated to traditional jewelry from each country. 
The Kyrgyz Express Post printed this series (print run: 5,000 for each stamp), designed by O. Kharuk and S. Kharuk, in a single minisheet consisting of 8 stamps (4 of each) and a central label mentioning this joint issue (in Kyrgyz and English), the theme and including the flags of the 2 countries.
These 2 stamps are present on this elegant official FDC (print run: 250, design: Daria Maier) with postmark from Bishkek.
Jewelry has always played an important role in the cultures of various nations. Besides its aesthetic function, jewelry also had special significance in the spiritual realm. 

 

J'aime beaucoup le graphisme de cette série, conçue en particulier à partir de photographies anciennes faisant partie du fond de l'artiste et collectionneur d'art populaire ukrainien Mykola Babak (né en 1954).
Le timbre ci-dessus à gauche représente un tumar, une parure de poitrine kirghize traditionnelle, qui avait une signification sacrée importante. En plus de son attrait esthétique, ce bijou a également un rôle de talisman (en arabe, tumar signifie prière). Le tumar est généralement une amulette triangulaire avec de nombreuses suspensions,  porté habituellement par dessus des colliers de perles.
Un dukach (collection du centre national de culture populaire "Ivan Honchar" à Kiev), pendentif ornemental traditionnel des femmes ukrainiennes, est représenté sur l'autre timbre. Le dukach ukrainien est un ornement en forme de médaille avec un arc ou une couronne en métal, décoré de pierres précieuses.
I really love the design of this series, designed especially from old photographs from the Charity Fund of Ukrainian artist and folk art collector Mykola Babak (b.1954).
The stamp above to the left features a tumar, a traditional Kyrgyz breast adornment, which had important sacred significance. In addition to its aesthetic appeal, this jewel also has a role of talisman (in Arabic, tumar means prayer). The tumar is usually a triangular amulet with numerous suspensions, usually worn over pearl necklaces.
A dukach (collection of the national center of folk culture "Ivan Honchar" in Kiev), a traditional ornamental pendant of Ukrainian women, is depicted on the other stamp. The Ukrainian dukach is a medal-shaped ornament with a metal bow or crown, decorated with gemstones.

Pour rappel, la poste ukrainienne a mis en circulation un feuillet similaire, mais avec une vignette centrale incluant la mention erronée "Kyrgyz Republik", ce qui n'est pas le cas pour la version kirghize ci-dessus.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian Post has put into circulation a similar minisheet, but with a central label including the erroneous mention "Kyrgyz Republik", which is not the case for the Kyrgyz version above.
