Bloc "CNEP - Salon philatélique de printemps - Salon-de-Provence" sur FDC de France

Sauf erreur, la CNEP (Chambre syndicale française des Négociants et Experts en Philatélie) organise ce Salon philatélique de printemps depuis 1980, ayant lieu chaque année dans une ville différente, en alternance avec Paris la plupart du temps.
Après Paris en 2023, c'est donc une ville de province, Salon-de-Provence (Bouches-du-Rhône) qui a organisé ce Salon philatélique de printemps en 2024, du 4 au 6 avril.
Depuis 1980 (Salon Alsatec - Strasbourg), des blocs-feuillets "CNEP" sont mis en circulation et mis en vente afin de participer au financement de l'organisation de ces manifestations philatéliques (Salon philatélique de printemps, Salon philatélique d'automne, expositions internationales...).
Lors de ce Salon philatélique de printemps à Salon-de-Provence, un nouveau bloc-feuillet "CNEP" a été émis, incluant un timbre "Lettre Verte" consacré à Nostradamus (1503-1566), sans doute le plus célèbre médecin astrologue de l'histoire, dont les prédictions échauffent encore les esprits aujourd'hui... 
Unless I'm mistaken, the CNEP (French Trade Union Chamber of Philately Traders and Experts) has been organizing this Salon philatélique de printemps ("Spring Stamp Show") since 1980, taking place each year in a different city, alternating with Paris most of the time.
After Paris in 2023, it is therefore a provincial town, Salon-de-Provence (Bouches-du-Rhône) which organized this Spring Stamp Show in 2024, from April 4 to 6.
Since 1980 (Alsatec exhibition - Strasbourg), "CNEP" souvenir sheets have been put into circulation and put on sale in order to help finance the organization of these philatelic events (Spring Stamp Show, Autumn Stamp Show, international stamp exhibitions ...).
During this Spring Stamp Show in Salon-de-Provence, a new "CNEP" souvenir sheet was issued, including a "Green Letter" stamp dedicated to Nostradamus (1503-1566), undoubtedly the most famous physician astrologer of history, whose predictions still excite people's minds today ...

 

Ce bloc-feuillet autocollant (tirage : 7000), proposé par les négociants et marchands sur place au prix de 10€, a été utilisé sur la lettre ci-dessus avec TAD associé (lunette astronomique ?) du 6 avril 2024 de Salon-de-Provence.
Ce bloc-feuillet a été conçu par Christophe Laborde-Balen, l'auteur également du timbre officiel et de la vignette LISA mis en vente par Philaposte lors de ce Salon.
Le timbre montre Michel de Nostredame, dit Nostradamus, installé à Salon-de-Provence à partir de 1555 (où il mourut en 1566), faisant des observations astronomiques.
Apothicaire et astrologue, Nostradamus est connu dans le monde entier pour ses prophéties publiées à partir de 1555. Même la reine Catherine de Médicis, passionnée d'occultisme, l'avait fait venir à sa cour pour consultation.
La marge supérieure du bloc-feuillet illustre l'une de ses plus célèbres prophéties : "Le lyon jeune le vieux surmontera, En champ bellique par singulier duelle, Dans cage d’or les yeux lui crèvera : Deux classes une, puis mourir, mort cruelle".
Selon les adeptes d'une lecture prophétique, ce quatrain annonçait la mort du roi Henri II (vieux lion) en 1559 lors d'un tournoi de chevalerie, affrontant le comte de Montgommery (jeune lion).
This self-adhesive souvenir sheet (print run: 7,000), offered by traders and merchants on site at the price of €10.00, was used on the cover above with its associated cancellation (astronomical telescope?) dated April 6, 2024 from Salon-de-Provence.
This souvenir sheet was designed by Christophe Laborde-Balen, also the author of the official stamp and the LISA ATM stamp put on sale by Philaposte during this Show.
The stamp shows Michel de Nostredame, known as Nostradamus, installed in Salon-de-Provence from 1555 (where he died in 1566), making astronomical observations.
Apothecary and astrologer, Nostradamus is known throughout the world for his prophecies published from 1555. Even Queen Catherine de Medici, passionate about occultism, asked him to come to her court for consultation.
The upper margin of the souvenir sheet illustrates one of his most famous prophecies: "The young lion will overcome the older one, On the field of combat in a single battle, He will pierce his eyes through a golden cage, Two wounds made one, then he dies a cruel death".
According to followers of a prophetic reading, this quatrain announced the death of King Henry II (old lion) in 1559 during a chivalry tournament, facing the Count of Montgommery (young lion).
