"250th birth anniversary of Beethoven" stamp on cover from the Order of Malta (SMOM)

De nombreuses administrations postales (Allemagne, Ukraine, France, Jersey, Guernesey, République serbe de Bosnie, Monaco, Vatican, Moldavie, Portugal, Macédoine du Nord, Bulgarie, Liban, Roumanie, OSMM, Gibraltar, Autriche, Croatie, Brésil, îles Féroé, Liechtenstein, Serbie, Costa Rica, Pologne, Israël, Mexique, Vietnam, Malte, Azerbaïdjan, Uruguay, HP Mostar, Macao, Argentine, Bosnie-Herzégovine, Kazakhstan, Kirghizstan, Albanie, Espagne, Guatemala, République dominicaine, Hongrie...) ont émis en 2020 des timbres commémorant le 250ème anniversaire de la naissance du compositeur et pianiste allemand Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827), probablement l'un des musiciens les plus connus à travers le monde, avec Mozart.
Le 27 juillet 2020, l'administration postale de l'Ordre Souverain Militaire de Malte (OSMM) a mis en circulation un timbre sur ce thème, utilisé avec sa vignette attenante sur la lettre ci-dessous avec TAD du 7 novembre 2024 (avec, comme de coutume, la mention "Poste Magistrali") du siège de l'institution à Rome. 
Many postal administrations (Germany, Ukraine, France, Jersey, Guernsey, Serbian Republic of Bosnia, Monaco, Vatican City, Moldova, Portugal, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Lebanon, Romania, SMOM, Gibraltar, Austria, Croatia, Brazil, Faroe Islands, Liechtenstein, Serbia, Costa Rica, Poland, Israel, Mexico, Vietnam, Malta, Azerbaijan, Uruguay, HP Mostar, Macau, Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Albania, Spain, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Hungary ...) have issued stamps in 2020 commemorating the 250th anniversary of the birth of the German composer and pianist Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827), probably one of the most famous musicians around the world, with Mozart. 
On July 27, 2020, the postal administration of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta (SMOM) put into circulation a stamp on this theme, used with its attached label on the cover below with postmarks of November 7, 2024 (with, as usual, the mention "Poste Magistrali") from the institution's headquarters in Rome.  

Ce timbre (2,70€, tirage : 5000), imprimé en France par Cartor (en feuillet de 6 timbres + 6 vignettes), a été conçu à partir d'un célèbre portrait du musicien (en train de composer la Missa solemnis), datant de 1820, par le peintre allemand Joseph Karl Stieler, exposé dans sa maison natale à Bonn.
A noter que le logo officiel des célébrations de ce 250ème anniversaire, "BTHVN2020", rappelant que Beethoven signait parfois certaines de ses partitions et lettres avec uniquement les 5 consonnes de son nom, n'est pas présent sur ce timbre.
Avec sa musique immortelle, Beethoven est considéré comme un artiste radical et un visionnaire créatif, ayant défendu passionnément les idéaux de liberté et de fraternité, en particulier à travers sa Symphonie n°9 composée entre 1822 et 1824, ayant profondément influencé l'histoire de la musique au 19ème et 20ème siècle.
La vignette attenante reproduit la signature du compositeur. 
This stamp (€2.70, print run: 5,000), printed in France by Cartor (in a sheetlet of 6 stamps + 6 labels), was designed based on a famous portrait of the musician (composing the Missa solemnis), dating from 1820, by the German painter Joseph Karl Stieler, exhibited in his birthplace in Bonn.
To note that the official logo for this 250th anniversary celebrations, "BTHVN2020", recalling that Beethoven sometimes signed some of his scores and letters with only the five consonants of his name, is not present on this stamp.
With his immortal music, Beethoven is considered a radical artist and a creative visionary, having passionately defended the ideals of freedom and brotherhood, in particular through his Symphony No. 9 composed between 1822 and 1824, having deeply influenced the history of music in the 19th and 20th century.
