Movies and World Post Day in Czech Republic

C'est à nouveau une splendide lettre recommandée que j'ai reçu de la poste tchèque, envoyée de Prague le 5 octobre 2011 !
J'ai déjà évoqué dans des messages précédents les 2 timbres, tarif permanent A avec vignette attenante (développement de la philatélie) et émission commune avec le Luxembourg (17 Kč), émis en 2010.
Les 3 autres timbres composant cet affranchissement ont été émis le jour d'envoi de cette lettre. J'ai eu la chance de recevoir, à l'intérieur de cette lettre, les FDC officiels concernant ces 3 timbres !
This is again a beautiful registered letter that I've received from the Czech Post, sent in Prague on October 5, 2011 !
I've already mentioned in previous posts the two stamps, "A" Permanent rate with its attached coupon (Development of Philately) and the joint issue with Luxembourg (17 Kč), issued in 2010.
The three other stamps used for this postage have been issued on the day of dispatch of this letter. I was fortunate to receive, inside this letter, the official FDC devoted to these three stamps !

Les 2 timbres à 10 Kč reproduisent des affiches de films conçus par des artistes tchèques.
L'affiche du film "Markéta Lazarová" représentée sur le timbre ci-dessous est une oeuvre du graphiste et typographe Zdeněk Ziegler (né en 1932 à Prague).
Ce film historique tchécoslovaque, réalisé en 1966 par František Vláčil, est une adaptation d'une nouvelle de Vladislav Vančura racontant l'histoire de Markéta Lazarová, la fille d'un comte féodal. En 1998, ce film a été élu meilleur film tchèque de tous les temps !
Zdeněk Ziegler a conçu également de nombreux timbres dans le passé et est membre de la commission responsable du graphisme des timbres tchèques.
The two stamps at 10 Kč reproduce film posters designed by Czech artists.
The poster of the film "Markéta Lazarová" depicted on the stamp below is a work by graphic designer and typographer Zdeněk Ziegler (born in 1932 in Prague).
This Czechoslovakian historic film, directed in 1966 by František Vláčil, is adapted from a novel by Vladislav Vančura telling the story of Markéta Lazarová, the daughter of a feudal count. In 1998, this film was awarded best Czech film of all time !
Zdeněk Ziegler has also designed many stamps in the past and is a member of the Czech Post's Stamp Graphic Design Board.

C'est l'affiche d'un film français, "Une femme douce" ("Něžná" en tchèque) réalisé par Robert Bresson en 1969, qui est reproduite sur le 2ème timbre de cette série ci-dessous.
Ce film est inspiré d'un roman de Fedor Dostoïevski.
Cette affiche, réalisée par la peintre et graphiste Olga Poláčková-Vyleťalová (née en 1944 à Hradec Králové), est devenue une icône de l'art de l'affiche en république tchèque.
Olga Poláčková-Vyleťalová a conçu près de 80 affiches pour le cinéma entre 1969 et 1989 dont certaines ont reçu des prix internationaux, en particulier au festival de Cannes.
This is the poster of a French film, "A Gentle Woman" ("Něžná" in Czech) directed by Robert Bresson in 1969, which is reproduced on the second stamp of this series below.
This movie is based on a novel by Fyodor Dostoevsky.
This poster, by the painter and graphic artist Olga Poláčková-Vyleťalová (born in 1944 in Hradec Kralove), has become an icon of poster art in the Czech Republic.
Olga Poláčková-Vyleťalová has designed posters for nearly 80 films between 1969 and 1989, some of them having received international awards, particularly at the Cannes Film Festival.

L'illustration à gauche sur cette enveloppe Premier Jour ci-dessus reproduit l'affiche du film "Les oiseaux" ("Ptáci" en tchèque) d'Alfred Hitchcock, conçue par le mari d'Olga Poláčková-Vyleťalová, Josef Vyleťal (1940-1989).
The illustration to the left on this first day cover above reproduces the poster of the film "The Birds" ("Ptáci" in Czech) by Alfred Hitchcock, designed by the husband of Olga Poláčková-Vyleťalová, Josef Vyleťal (1940-1989).

Concernant ce même timbre, la poste tchèque a également émis le feuillet commémoratif numéroté ci-dessus avec le même timbre à date Premier Jour de Prague.
Regarding this same stamp, the Czech Post has also issued the numbered commemorative sheet above with the same FDC cancellation from Prague.

Le 3ème timbre ci-dessus, émis également le 5 octobre 2011, annonce la Journée Mondiale de la Poste ("Světový den pošty" en tchèque) célébrée chaque année le 9 octobre.
Ce timbre reproduit une allégorie de l'illustrateur slovaque Dušan Kállay (qui a déjà conçu la carte postale de Noël publiée dans mon message précédent) avec Hermès, le messager des dieux, jouant du cor (symbole postal) sur un globe terrestre autour duquel des colombes transportent des lettres...
Cette Journée Mondiale de la Poste, instituée en 1969, commémore la date anniversaire de la fondation de l'Union Postale Universelle (UPU) en 1874 à Berne, la capitale suisse.
D'après l'UPU, l'objectif de cette Journée est de "sensibiliser les citoyens et les entreprises au rôle de la poste dans leur vie quotidienne et de sa contribution au développement socio-économique des pays".
The third stamp above, also issued on October 5, 2011, announces the World Post Day ("Světový den pošty" in Czech) celebrated each year on October 9th.
This stamp depicts an allegory by the Slovakian illustrator Dušan Kállay (who has already designed the Christmas pictured Postcard published in my previous post) featuring Hermes, the messenger of the gods, playing horn (postal symbol) on a globe around which doves carrying letters are flying...
This World Post Day, established in 1969, commemorates the anniversary of the founding of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) in 1874 in Bern, the Swiss capital.
According to the UPU, the purpose of that Day is "to create awareness of the role of the postal sector in people's and businesses' everyday lives and its contribution to the social and economic development of countries".
