"Postcrossing" stamp on FDC from Brazil

Timbre "Postcrossing" sur FDC du Brésil

Depuis 2011, une trentaine d'administrations postales a consacré des timbres à Postcrossing (Belarus, Roumanie, Indonésie, Malaisie, Hongrie, Moldavie, Irlande, Pologne, Slovénie, Suisse, République tchèque...).
Pour rappel, Postcrossing est un projet créé en 2005 par le portugais Paulo Magalhães, consistant à envoyer et à recevoir des cartes postales (de façon aléatoire) en provenance du monde entier.
A ce jour, ce site internet regroupe presque 800000 membres provenant de 207 pays ou territoires différents (près de 60 millions de cartes reçues), mais reste plutôt confidentiel en France avec seulement 17000 membres (8500 au Brésil). 
Since 2011, around thirty postal administrations have dedicated stamps to Postcrossing (Belarus, Romania, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hungary, Moldova, Ireland, Poland, Slovenia, Switzerland, Czech Republic ...).
As a reminder, Postcrossing is a project created in 2005 by the Portuguese Paulo Magalhães, consisting in sending and receiving postcards (randomly) from all over the world.
To date, this website brings together almost 800,000 members from 207 different countries or territories (nearly 60 million cards received), but remains rather confidential in France with only 17,000 members (8,500 in Brazil).

 

Le 14 juillet 2020, la poste brésilienne Correios a mis en circulation un timbre (2,45 R$, tirage : 600000), conçu par Daniel Lourenço, consacré à ce projet Postcrossing, utilisé en 2 exemplaires sur le pli ci-dessus, avec TAD Premier Jour de São Paulo, envoyé le 24 septembre 2020 depuis São Paulo (SPM = São Paulo Metropolitan). Merci beaucoup Marcelo !
J'aime beaucoup ce timbre, très poétique, montrant deux personnages (un homme et une femme) échangeant des cartes postales. Pour démontrer le caractère aléatoire de la pratique, des cartes postales ont été placées comme si elles tombaient de chaque côté.
L'homme vit à Lisbonne, la capitale du pays où Postcrossing a été créé, et la femme à Paris, dont le monument de la Tour Eiffel est un lieu touristique reconnaissable partout dans le monde.
Une des cartes postales qui apparaît sur le timbre représente Rio de Janeiro avec le Christ Rédempteur et la ligne pointillée qui traverse tout le timbre fait référence au voyage d'une carte postale à travers le monde.
On July 14, 2020, the Brazilian Post Correios put into circulation a stamp (R $ 2.45, print run: 600,000), designed by Daniel Lourenço, dedicated to this Postcrossing project, used in two copies on the cover above, with First Day cancellation from São Paulo, sent on September 24, 2020 from São Paulo (SPM = São Paulo Metropolitan). I really love this stamp, very poetic, showing two characters (a man and a woman) exchanging postcards. To demonstrate the randomness of the practice, postcards were placed as if they were falling on either side.
The man lives in Lisbon, the capital of the country where Postcrossing was founded, and the woman in Paris, where Eiffel Tower monument is a recognizable tourist spot all over the world.
One of the postcards that appears on the stamp depicts Rio de Janeiro with Christ the Redeemer and the dotted line running through the entire stamp refers to a postcard's journey around the world.
