"100th birth anniversary of former President Lee Teng-hui" s/s on FDC from Taiwan

Bloc-feuillet "100ème anniversaire de la naissance du président Lee Teng-hui" sur FDC de Taïwan

Le 30 juillet 2021, la Chunghwa Post de Taïwan avait déjà mis en circulation une série (4 timbres) consacrée à l'ancien président de la République Lee Teng-hui (1923-2020) à l'occasion du premier anniversaire de sa disparition.
Le 13 janvier 2023 (année 112 localement), c'est cette fois un bloc-feuillet qui a été émis, consacré au 100ème anniversaire (jour pour jour) de sa naissance.
Merci beaucoup George pour cette enveloppe incluant ce bloc-feuillet (28 NT$, tirage : 500000), conçu par Delta Design Corporation, envoyée le Premier Jour d'émission depuis le district de Yungho, situé dans le sud de New Taipei !
A noter que ce bloc-feuillet (timbre et marges) comporte des portraits de Lee Teng-hui identiques à ceux déjà présents sur la série émise en 2021...
On July 30, 2021, the Chunghwa Post of Taiwan had already put into circulation a series (4 stamps) dedicated to the former President of the Republic Lee Teng-hui (1923-2020) on the occasion of the first anniversary of his death.
On January 13, 2023 (year 112 locally), this time a souvenir sheet was issued, dedicated to the 100th anniversary (to the day) of his birth.
Thank you very much George for this envelope including this souvenir sheet (NT$ 28, print run: 500,000), designed by Delta Design Corporation, sent on the First Day of issue from Yungho district, located in the south of New Taipei!
To note that this souvenir sheet (stamp and margins) includes portraits of Lee Teng-hui identical to those already present on the series issued in 2021...

 

Membre du Kuomintang, parti politique créé en 1912 par Sun Yat-sen, Lee Teng-hui a marqué l'histoire contemporaine de Taïwan en consolidant la démocratie et en développant la modernisation de l'île (infrastructures, industrie...).
Lee Teng-hui fut vice-président à partir de 1984 puis devient président en 1988 après la mort du président Chiang Ching-kuo dont il achève le mandat, avant d'être élu (par le parlement) en 1990 et réélu (1ères élections directes par le peuple) en 1996 (fin de mandat en 2000).  
La marge à droite, ainsi que le cachet appliqué avec une encre rouge, représente Lee Teng-hui saluant le peuple, annonçant que la démocratisation était arrivée et ouvrant la page d'une nouvelle ère de l'histoire de Taïwan. 

Member of the Kuomintang, a political party created in 1912 by Sun Yat-sen, Lee Teng-hui has marked the contemporary history of Taiwan by consolidating democracy and developing the modernization of the island (infrastructure, industry, etc.).
Lee Teng-hui was vice-president from 1984 then became president in 1988 after the death of President Chiang Ching-kuo, before being elected (by parliament) in 1990 and re-elected (first direct elections by the people) in 1996 (end of mandate in 2000).

The margin on the right, as well as the cachet applied with red ink, shows Lee Teng-hui greeting the people, announcing that democratization has arrived and opening the page of a new era in Taiwanese history.
