Le 23 janvier 2023 (vente générale), la poste française a mis en circulation un timbre consacré à Nelson Mandela (1918-2013) à l'occasion du 10ème anniversaire de sa disparition et du 30ème anniversaire de son Prix Nobel de la Paix.
Ce timbre (1,80€, tirage : 600000), conçu par C215 et gravé par Elsa Catelin, figure sur ce pli Premier Jour du 20 janvier 2023 envoyé depuis Schiltigheim (67, Bas-Rhin). Merci beaucoup Olivier !
La vente Premier Jour de ce timbre avait en effet lieu à Nantes, Paris et dans le centre sportif Nelson Mandela de Schiltigheim.
Christian Guémy, alias C215, est un artiste urbain né en 1973, pratiquant le graffiti pochoir et aujourd'hui une des grandes figures du street art en France. 
J'aime beaucoup aussi le TAD (conception : Bruno Ghiringhelli) représentant le célèbre point levé de Mandela. Nelson Mandela restera associé à ce geste, un signe qui l'accompagne de son emprisonnement en 1964 à sa libération en 1990.
On January 23, 2023 (general sale), the French Post put into circulation a stamp devoted to Nelson Mandela (1918-2013) on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of his death and the 30th anniversary of his Nobel Peace Prize.
This stamp (€1.80, print run: 600,000), designed by C215 and engraved by Elsa Catelin, is present on this First Day cover of January 20, 2023 sent from Schiltigheim (67, Bas-Rhin). Thank you very much Olivier!
The First Day sale of this stamp took place in Nantes, Paris and in the Nelson Mandela sports center in Schiltigheim.
Christian Guémy, alias C215, is an urban artist born in 1973, practicing stencil graffiti and today one of the great figures of street art in France.
I also really love the postmark (design: Bruno Ghiringhelli) featuring Mandela's famous raised point. Nelson Mandela will remain associated with this gesture, a sign that accompanied him from his imprisonment in 1964 to his release in 1990.

Nelson Mandela is probably the most prominent political figure of the last century in the world, freedom fighter, reconciler and model for several generations of South Africans.
Nobel Peace Prize in 1993 for jointly and peacefully ending the apartheid regime and laying the foundations for a new democratic South Africa, he committed himself from an early age to the equality of rights of the majority of the black population of his country. 
Despite 27 years of imprisonment, he continued to fight for a non-racist, united and democratic South Africa. In 1994, Nelson Mandela was elected the first black president of South Africa.
