"70 years of diplomatic relations" joint stamp with India, on FDC from Germany

Cela fait 70 ans que l'Inde et l'Allemagne ont établi des relations diplomatiques. L'Inde a été l'un des premiers États à reconnaître diplomatiquement (en 1951) la République fédérale d'Allemagne après la Seconde Guerre mondiale. 
Avec "l'Agenda pour le partenariat indo-allemand au 21e siècle", il a été convenu en 2000 d'approfondir davantage cette relation entre les 2 pays et de lui donner une nouvelle dimension stratégique. L'Allemagne est le seul pays avec lequel l'Inde tient des consultations formelles entre les deux cabinets, alternativement entre l'Allemagne et l'Inde, tous les deux ans. Les valeurs partagées de démocratie et d'État de droit, qui font de l'Inde et de l'Allemagne des partenaires dans l'action pour un ordre mondial fondé sur des règles, revêtent une importance particulière pour les deux parties. 
It has been 70 years since India and Germany established diplomatic relations. India was one of the first states to diplomatically recognize (in 1951) the Federal Republic of Germany after World War II.
With the "Agenda for the Indo-German partnership in the 21st century", it was agreed in 2000 to further deepen this relationship between the two countries and to give it a new strategic dimension.
Germany is the only country with which India holds formal consultations between the two cabinets, alternately between Germany and India, every two years. The shared values of democracy and the rule of law, which make India and Germany partners in action for a rules-based world order, are of particular importance to both sides.

 

Pour commémorer le 70ème anniversaire de ces relations diplomatiques, les administrations postales des 2 pays ont mis en circulation le 10 juin 2021 un timbre spécial.
Malheureusement, ces 2 timbres sont complètement différents, l'Inde ayant opté pour une représentation classique, avec groupes de danseurs des 2 pays, la Porte de Brandebourg à Berlin et la Porte de l'Inde à New Delhi dans le fond.
La version allemande de ce timbre (1,70€), conçu par Matthias Wittig, est beaucoup plus originale à mon avis, utilisée sur cette lettre avec TAD Premier Jour de Berlin.
Ce timbre comporte les couleurs des drapeaux indien et allemand (avec la bande jaune de couleur plutôt dorée ici) en rayures empilées les unes sur les autres, dans une composition simple, se réunissant pour former un nouvel ensemble cohérent. Les noms des 2 pays y figurent également en hindi.
Le chakra d'Ashoka, représentant la roue éternelle de la loi, symbole figurant au centre du drapeau indien est présent sur le TAD Premier Jour ci-dessus.

To commemorate the 70th anniversary of these diplomatic relations, the postal administrations of the two countries issued a special stamp on June 10, 2021.

Unfortunately, these two stamps are completely different, India having opted for a classical representation, with groups of dancers from the 2 countries, the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin and the India Gate in New Delhi in the background.

The German version of this stamp (€ 1.70), designed by Matthias Wittig, is much more original in my opinion, used on this letter with First Day postmarks from Berlin.

This stamp features the colors of the Indian and German flags (with the rather golden-colored yellow stripe here) in stripes stacked on top of each other, in a simple composition, coming together to form a cohesive new whole. The names of the two countries also appear in Hindi.

The Ashoka Chakra, representing the eternal wheel of the law, symbol appearing in the center of the Indian flag is present on the First Day cancellation above.
