Du 13 mai au 7 octobre 2020, le musée postal de Prague organise une nouvelle exposition intitulée "Imprimons le nôtre! Les premiers timbres tchécoslovaques d'après-guerre" ("Vytiskneme si naše! První československé poválečné známky").
Pour marquer le 75ème anniversaire de la fin de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, cette exposition présente au public les premiers timbres tchécoslovaques qui ont été utilisés à partir de mai 1945 sur le territoire tchécoslovaque, libéré de l'occupant Nazi.
A l'occasion de cette exposition, la poste tchèque a mis en circulation l'entier postal ci-dessous (tarif permanent "E" pour un envoi jusqu'à 50g en Europe, soit 39 CZK actuellement), avec son TAD associé de Prague (conception : grafické studio Motor, s.r.o.) en date du 20 juin 2020. From May 13 to October 7, 2020, the Prague Postal Museum is organizing a new exhibition entitled "Let's print ours! The first post-war Czechoslovak stamps" ("Vytiskneme si naše! První československé poválečné známky").
To mark the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II, this exhibition presents to the public the first Czechoslovak stamps that were used from May 1945 on the Czechoslovak territory, liberated from Nazi occupiers.
On the occasion of this exhibition, the Czech Post put into circulation the postal stationery below (permanent rate "E" for a shipment up to 50g to Europe, 39 CZK currently), with its associated postmark from Prague (design: grafické studio Motor, s.r.o.) dated June 20, 2020. Cette exposition rappelle qu'avant des nouveaux timbres-poste officiels mis en circulation en 1945 à l'initiative du gouvernement tchécoslovaque en exil à Londres, un symbole de la souveraineté étatique retrouvée (série imprimée à Londres émise le 13 août 1945 et série imprimée à Moscou émise les 6 et 15 juin 1945), la 1ère série (8 timbres, feuilles de tilleul) imprimée sur le territoire tchécoslovaque a été émise le 23 mai 1945.
Avant ces timbres, plusieurs séries de timbres ont été émises localement, par exemple une série de 7 timbres à Košice en mars 1945 et une série de 8 timbres à Bratislava en avril 1945.
Juste après la libération, des timbres allemands du protectorat de Bohême-Moravie ont été utilisés, surimprimés de diverses inscriptions ou éléments graphiques, à l'initiative des comités nationaux révolutionnaires ou des fonctionnaires des postes eux-mêmes.
Dans tous les cas, il s'agissait d'une initiative privée, sans l'accord du ministère des postes, mais comme aucun timbre tchécoslovaque n'était disponible, leur utilisation a été tacitement tolérée.
Dans 3 villes de Moravie, Olomouc, Slavkov u Brna et Bučovice, les bureaux de poste locaux ont même imprimé leurs propres timbres, alors que ces régions n'étaient pas encore toutes libérées...
This exhibition recalls that before the new official postage stamps put into circulation in 1945 at the initiative of the Czechoslovak government in exile in London, a symbol of regained state sovereignty (series printed in London issued on August 13, 1945 and series printed in Moscow issued on 6 and 15 June 1945), the first series (8 stamps, linden leaves) printed on Czechoslovak territory was issued on 23 May 1945.
Prior to these stamps, several sets of stamps were issued locally, for example a set of 7 stamps in Košice in March 1945 and a set of 8 stamps in Bratislava in April 1945.
Immediately after the liberation, German stamps of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia were used, overprinted with various inscriptions or graphic elements, on the initiative of the National Revolutionary Committees or of the postal officials themselves.
In all cases, it was a private initiative, without the agreement of the Ministry of Posts, but as no Czechoslovak stamp was available, their use was tacitly tolerated.
In 3 towns of Moravia, Olomouc, Slavkov u Brna and Bučovice, the local post offices even printed their own stamps, while these regions were not yet all liberated ...
