Timbre "Porte de Brandebourg interprétée par l'IA" sur FDC d'Allemagne
Le 2 novembre 2023, la Deutsche Post a mis en circulation le premier timbre d'une nouvelle série "Bâtiments historiques en Allemagne" ("Historische Bauwerke in Deutschland"), consacré en particulier à un monument iconique de la ville de Berlin, la Porte de Brandebourg, symbole de la division puis de la réunification du pays.
Ce timbre (1,60€), imprimé en feuillet de 10 timbres, est particulier car il représente la Porte de Brandebourg (construite entre 1788 et 1791) et ses alentours, interprétée par l'Intelligence Artificielle (IA - "Künstlichen Intelligenz" en allemand) en collaboration avec le laboratoire Midjourney.
Ce timbre a été utilisé sur cette lettre avec TAD Premier Jour de Bonn. Merci beaucoup Jens !
On November 2, 2023, the Deutsche Post put into circulation the first stamp in a new series "Historical Buildings in Germany" ("Historische Bauwerke in Deutschland"), dedicated in particular to an iconic monument of the city of Berlin, the Brandenburg Gate, symbol of the division and then the reunification of the country.
This stamp (€1.60), printed in a sheetlet of 10 stamps, is special because it represents the Brandenburg Gate (built between 1788 and 1791) and its surroundings, interpreted by Artificial Intelligence (AI - "Künstlichen Intelligenz" in German) in collaboration with the Midjourney laboratory.

Pour concevoir ce timbre grâce à l'IA, certaines commandes et descriptions plus détaillées de ce qui doit être vu dans l'image sont d'abord saisies dans les programmes correspondants. Le logiciel crée ensuite plusieurs versions parmi lesquelles l'utilisateur ou le graphiste peut choisir et modifier davantage ce qui est affiché ou en créer de nouvelles variantes.
Les timbres de cette nouvelle série apparaissent sous forme de timbres physiques traditionnels ainsi que sous la forme de crypto-timbres, une première en Allemagne, commercialisés dans un carnet spécial à un prix de vente de 9,90€.
Un timbre cryptographique est en effet une combinaison d'un timbre conventionnel et de son homologue unique sur une blockchain. Un NFT (non-fungible token) en fait une œuvre d'art numérique unique qui appartient exclusivement à l'acheteur respectif.
To design this stamp using AI, some commands and more detailed descriptions of what should be seen in the image are first entered into the corresponding programs. The software then creates several versions from which the user or designer can choose and further modify what is displayed or create new variations of it.
The stamps of this new series appear in the form of traditional physical stamps as well as in the form of cryptostamps, a first in Germany, marketed in a special booklet at a sale price of €9.90.
A cryptographic stamp is actually a combination of a conventional stamp and its unique counterpart on a blockchain. An NFT (non-fungible token) makes it a unique work of digital art that belongs exclusively to the respective buyer.
