Série EUROPA 2024 (Faune et flore subaquatiques) sur lettre d'Italie
Pour rappel, le thème choisi par l'association PostEurop pour les timbres EUROPA émis en 2024, la faune et flore subaquatiques ("Fauna e Flora Sottomarina" en italien)
met en lumière la biodiversité des eaux européennes qui souffrent
de la surpêche, de la pollution et du changement climatique et qui
doivent être protégées pour les générations futures.
Le 9 mai 2024 (Journée de l'Europe), la poste italienne a mis en circulation une jolie série (2 timbres) illustrant ce thème et en particulier la biodiversité de la mer Méditerranée.
Ces 2 timbres autocollants (tarif "B zone 1" correspondant à un envoi jusqu'à 20g vers
les pays d'Europe et du bassin méditerranéen - 1,30€ actuellement, tirage : 250020 chacun), conçus par Matias Hermo, ont été utilisés sur l'enveloppe ci-dessous envoyée le 22 mai 2024 depuis la ville de Bologne. Merci beaucoup Salvatore !
As a reminder, the theme chosen by the PostEurop association for the EUROPA stamps issued in 2024, underwater fauna and flora ("Fauna e Flora Sottomarina" in Italian) highlights the biodiversity of European waters which suffer from overfishing, pollution and climate change and which have to be protected for future generations.
On May 9, 2024 (Europe Day), the Italian Post put into circulation a nice series (2 stamps) illustrating this theme and in particular the biodiversity of the Mediterranean Sea.
These two self-adhesive stamps ("B zone 1" rate corresponding to a shipment up to 20g to countries in Europe and the Mediterranean basin - €1.30 currently, print run: 250,020 each), designed by Matias Hermo, have been used on the cover below sent on May 22, 2024 from the city of Bologna. En Italie, l'aquarium de Gênes est à l'avant-garde depuis plus de 30 ans dans la conservation et la protection des milieux aquatiques, impliquant des millions de visiteurs.
Différentes espèces sont représentées sur ces 2 timbres, comme la tortue caouanne (Caretta caretta) et l'espadon (Xiphias gladius), la raie pastenague (Dasyatis pastinaca), la murène commune (Muraena helena), la pieuvre commune (Octopus vulgaris) et différentes espèces de poissons, coraux et plantes ou algues marines.
