Bloc-feuillet "Expo 2025 Osaka - Pavillon national" sur FDC d'Algérie
Après Dubaï en 2021-2022 et avant Riyad en 2030, la ville japonaise d'Osaka organisait cette année, du 13 avril au 13 octobre 2025, l'exposition universelle, sur l'île artificielle de Yumeshima (environ 155 hectares).
Cette expo rassemblait 161 pays autour du thème "Concevoir la société du futur, imaginer notre vie de demain". Ce
thème se déclinait sous trois axes : sauver des vies, inspirer des vies
et connecter des vies.
Dès son indépendance en 1962, l'Algérie participe à certaines expositions internationales, avec notamment un pavillon à l'Exposition Universelle de 1967 à Montréal. Elle adhère au BIE (Bureau International des Expositions) en 1997.
Ses participations sont primées à diverses reprises, y compris lors de cette Expo 2025 où le pavillon algérien "Lights of Algeria" à remporté la médaille d'argent du meilleur design extérieur, entièrement orné de zellige traditionnel.
Le zellige est un type de mosaïque ornementale traditionnel dans le domaine de l'architecture islamique, en particulier dans les pays du Maghreb et en Espagne.
Following Dubai in 2021-2022 and preceding Riyadh in 2030, the Japanese city of Osaka hosted the World Expo 2025 this year, from April 13 to October 13, 2025, on the artificial island of Yumeshima (approximately 155 hectares).
This Expo brought together 161 countries around the theme "Designing Future Society for Our Lives". This theme was divided into three aeras: saving lives, empowering lives and connecting lives.
Since its independence in 1962, Algeria has participated in several international expositions, notably with a pavilion at the 1967 World Expo in Montreal. It joined the BIE (Bureau International des Expositions) in 1997.
Its participations have received numerous awards, including at the Expo 2025 where the Algerian pavilion, "Lights of Algeria," won the silver medal for best exterior design, entirely adorned with traditional zellij tiles.
Zellij is a type of ornamental mosaic traditionally used in Islamic architecture, particularly in the Maghreb countries and Spain.

Le timbre illustre en particulier le symbole qui figurait sur la porte d'entrée du pavillon.
Ayant pour thème "Terre de coexistence pacifique", le pavillon de l'Algérie à Osaka s'ouvrait sur une impressionnante exposition d'outils en pierre datant de 2,4 millions d’années. On y trouvait également des expositions mettant en lumière les sites patrimoniaux et touristiques exceptionnels du pays, dont sept sites inscrits au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO, tels que la Casbah d'Alger, Tipasa, Timgad, la vallée du M'zab et le Tassili n'Ajjer.
Les visiteurs pouvaient aussi approfondir leur compréhension des initiatives algériennes visant à relever les défis mondiaux comme le développement durable, l'alimentation, l'eau, l'énergie et l'éradication de la pauvreté.

With the theme "Land of Peaceful Coexistence," the Algerian pavilion in Osaka opened with an impressive exhibition of stone tools dating back 2.4 million years. It also featured exhibits highlighting the country's exceptional heritage and tourist sites, including seven UNESCO World Heritage sites, such as the Casbah of Algiers, Tipasa, Timgad, the M'zab Valley, and the Tassili n'Ajjer.
Visitors could also deepen their understanding of Algerian initiatives aimed at addressing global challenges such as sustainable development, food, water, energy and poverty eradication.
