Comme de coutume, en tant que client fidèle (!), j'ai reçu récemment en cadeau plusieurs souvenirs philatéliques, liés aux festivités de Noël et de nouvel an, en particulier envoyés par les administrations postales de la Principauté du Liechtenstein, d'Åland et du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg.
Le 3 décembre 2019, la poste luxembourgeoise a mis en circulation, comme de coutume, 2 timbres de Noël ayant pour thème "Les fêtes de fin d'année", conçus cette année par l'artiste allemande Anita Wünschmann, spécialiste de la photographie contemporaine et journalistique, résidant à Berlin et Luxembourg.
Ces 2 timbres de Noël illustrent un sujet classique, un sapin décoré.
As usual, as a loyal customer (!), I recently received several philatelic souvenirs related to the Christmas and New Year festivities, in particular sent by the postal administrations of the Principality of Liechtenstein, Åland and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
On December 3, 2019, the Luxembourg Post has put tocirculation, as usual, two Christmas stamps on the theme "End of year celebrations", designed this year by the German artist Anita Wünschmann, specialist in contemporary and journalistic photography, residing in Berlin and Luxembourg.
These two Christmas stamps feature a classic motif of the decorated tree.
Ces timbres ont été conçus à partir de collages, des images composites faites de morceaux de papier et d'autres matériaux.
Ces 2 timbres ont été imprimés en France par Cartor Security Printing, avec application d'un vernis UV sur certaines parties (la feuille au centre du sapin sur le timbre ci-dessus), chacun en feuille de 12 timbres avec bords décorés.
Un des 2 timbres de cette série (0,80€ + 0,10€) figure sur la jolie carte ci-dessus avec son TAD Premier Jour associé de Luxembourg.
La surcharge de 0,10€ est reversée au profit de "l'Oeuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte" qui a célébré le 75ème anniversaire de sa création en 2019 (un bloc-feuillet a été émis sur ce thème).

These stamps were made from collages, composite images made of individual pieces of paper and other materials.
These two stamps were printed in France by Cartor Security Printing, with the application of a UV varnish on some parts (the leaf in the center of the tree on the stamp above), each in sheet of 12 stamps with decorated borders.
One of the two stamps of this series (€ 0.80 + € 0.10) is present on the nice card above with its associated First Day cancellation from Luxembourg.
The surcharge of € 0.10 will benefit to the "Oeuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte" which celebrated the 75th anniversary of its creation in 2019 (a souvenir sheet was issued on this theme).
