Le 3 décembre 2019, la poste tchèque (bureau principal de Prague 1) a mis en circulation un nouveau TAD consacré au 100ème anniversaire de la création de la Commission géologique tchèque ("Česká geologická služba" - ČGS), avec un bureau temporaire présent au siège de cette institution à Prague.
La mission de cette Commission géologique, créée le 7 juillet 1919, est de fournir le service géologique national à la République tchèque et a la responsabilité légale de collecter, stocker et interpréter les informations géologiques afin que l'administration publique puisse prendre les décisions appropriées sur les questions économiques et environnementales nationales.
On December 3, 2019, the Czech Post (main post office of Prague 1) put into circulation a new postmark dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the creation of the Czech Geological Survey ("Česká geologická služba" - ČGS), with a temporary pot office present in the headquarters of this institution in Prague.
The mission of this Geological Survey, established on July 7, 1919, is to provide the state geological service for the Czech Republic and has the statutory responsibility to gather, store and interpret geological information so that the state administration can take appropriate decisions about national economic and environmental issues.
Ses principaux domaines d'activité sont la recherche géologique et la cartographie, les environnements rocheux et leur protection, les ressources minérales et l'impact environnemental de l'exploitation minière, les dangers géologiques...
Ce TAD, représentant un piolet (il figure en 2 exemplaires sur le logo de cette Commission) au dessus de reliefs montagneux, a été appliqué sur cette jolie lettre. Merci beaucoup Slavek !
Les 2 timbres identiques (19 CZK), émis le 14 juin 2006, sont consacré au parc national de la suisse bohémienne ("Národní park České Švýcarsko"), créé en 2000 dans le nord du pays, et en particulier aux gorges spectaculaires de la rivière Kamnitz.
La géologie et la géomorphologie uniques des roches de grès, la topographie accidentée et la riche biodiversité sont les principaux objets de protection de ce parc national.

The 2 identical stamps (19 CZK), issued on June 14, 2006, are dedicated to the Bohemian Switzerland National Park ("Národní park České Švýcarsko"), created in 2000 in the north of the country, and in particular to the spectacular gorges of the Kamnitz river.
The unique geology and geomorphology of the sandstone rocks, the rugged topography and the rich biodiversity are the main objects of protection in this national park.
