TAD "Croisières présidentielles" sur lettre de République tchèque
Le 7 juin 2023, la poste tchèque a mis en circulation un TAD consacré aux croisières présidentielles ("Prezidentské plavby") sur la rivière Vltava, proposé au public par le bureau de poste de Prague 9, installé à bord du navire Albatros, amarré au pont Štefánik sous le ministère de l'Industrie et du Commerce.
Ce TAD (conception : Pavel Sivko), représentant un ancien navire à vapeur et le château de Prague (cathédrale Saint-Guy), a été appliqué sur cette jolie lettre. Merci beaucoup Slavek !
Avec ces croisières présidentielles, on peut découvrir Prague sous un angle original en naviguant de façon privée à bord de bateaux en bois offrant des services haut de gamme.
On June 7, 2023, the Czech Post put into circulation a postmark dedicated to the Presidential cruises ("Prezidentské plavby") on the Vltava River, offered to the public by the Prague 9 post office, installed on board the ship Albatros, moored at the Štefánik Bridge under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
This postmark (design: Pavel Sivko), depicting an ancient steamship and Prague Castle (St. Vitus Cathedral), has been applied to this lovely cover. Thank you very much Slavek!
With these presidential cruises, you can discover Prague from an original perspective by sailing privately aboard wooden boats offering high-end services.
La poste tchèque a consacré dans le passé plusieurs timbres à des
bateaux à roues à aubes (à vapeur) dans la cadre de sa série ayant pour
thème les moyens de transport historiques.
Slavek a utilisé deux de ces timbres dont un (16 CZK), émis le 8 mars 2017, consacré au bateau à vapeur "Praha", inauguré en août 1865, détenu par la
Prague Steamboat Company (PPS), qui naviguait 3
fois par jour sur
la ligne très fréquentée entre Prague et Zbraslav (district du sud de
Prague).
L'autre timbre (25 CZK), émis le 23 septembre 2015, représente le bateau à roues à aubes (à vapeur) "Primátor Dittrich", qui appartenait également à la Compagnie des bateaux à vapeur de Prague (PPS) et qui a circulé entre 1891 et 1937. Ce bateau porte le nom de František Dittrich (1801-1875), qui fut un
défenseur des droits et du mouvement de renouveau tchécoslovaque lorsque
le pays était sous domination de l'empire austro-hongrois. Il fut
également maire de Prague (entre 1870 et 1873) et l'un des initiateurs
de l'introduction de ces bateaux de passagers sur la rivière Vltava.
The Czech Post has in the past dedicated several stamps to paddle steamers as part of its series about historical means of transport.
Slavek used two of these stamps, including one (16 CZK), issued on March 8, 2017, dedicated to the steamboat "Praha", inaugurated in August 1865, owned by the Prague Steamboat Company (PPS), which sailed 3 times a day on the busy line between Prague and Zbraslav (southern district of Prague).
The other stamp (25 CZK), issued on September 23, 2015, depicts the paddle steamer "Primátor Dittrich", which also belonged to the Prague Steamship Company "(PPS) and which circulated between 1891 and 1937. This boat is named after František Dittrich (1801-1875), who was a defender of Czechoslovak rights and the revival movement when the country was under the domination of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. He was also mayor of Prague (between 1870 and 1873) and one of the initiators of the introduction of these passenger boats on the Vltava River.
