Exposition Marcophilex XLVII à Épernay - LISA et TAD spécial
Après Versailles (78 - Yvelines) en 2022, la 47ème édition de Marcophilex, une exposition philatélique
internationale consacrée à
l'histoire postale et à la marcophilie (étude des marques postales) en
général, était organisée cette année à Épernay (51 - Marne) les 14 et 15 octobre 2023, en collaboration avec l'Association Philatélique Sparnacienne qui a fêtait ses 125 ans d’existence.
Comme
cela est le cas depuis 2012 (déjà à Épernay), une LISA spéciale a été
mise en circulation à cette occasion (type LISA 2, tirage : 15000,
conception : Pierre-André Cousin, peintre de l'Air et de l'Espace), disponible en libre service sur des
automates installés dans l'enceinte de l'exposition (Palais des fêtes d'Épernay).
C'est cette LISA (tarif "Lettre Verte" - 1,16€) qui figure sur le pli spécial ci-dessous envoyé depuis cette

After Versailles (78 - Yvelines) in 2022, the 47th edition of Marcophilex, an international philatelic exhibition
devoted to postal history and marcophily (study of postal marks) in
general, was organized this year this year in Épernay (51 - Marne) on October 14 and 15, 2023, in collaboration with the Sparnacian Philatelic Association which celebrated its 125 years of existence.
As has been the case since 2012 (already in Épernay), a special ATM stamp (LISA) was put into circulation on this occasion (type LISA 2, print run: 15,000, design: Pierre-André Cousin, French painter of Air and Space), available on automated machines installed
during this exhibition (Palais des Fêtes of Épernay).
It is this LISA ("Green Letter" rate - €1.16) which was used on the special cover below sent from this exhibition. Thank you very much Axel!
Cette exposition Marcophilex est organisée chaque année par l'Union Marcophile et présente au public des collections autour des marques
postales déclinées sous différentes formes (marques, oblitérations,
flammes sur les lettres et cartes postales).
L'illustration sur l'enveloppe et cette LISA rendent hommage à un célèbre militaire et aviateur, Albert Deullin, né en 1890 à Épernay et mort en 1923 (il y a 100 ans) à Villacoublay dans un accident d'avion alors qu'il était aux commandes d'un "De Marçay" lors d'une séance d'essai.
Albert Deullin, avec 20 victoires aériennes officielles remportées au cours de la Première Guerre mondiale, figure parmi les plus importants as de l'aviation française de la Grande Guerre.
Son portrait ainsi que cet aéronef "De Marçay" figurent sur cette LISA ainsi qu'un TAD du 25 mai 1947 mis en circulation à Épernay à l'occasion du 1er rallye aérien en Champagne.
La 48ème édition de cette exposition Marcophilex aura lieu en 2024 à Périgueux.
This exhibition Marcophilex is organized every year by the Union Marcophile
and presents to the public different collections devoted to postmarks
declined in different ways (marks,
cancellations, pictorial cancellations on letters and postcards).
The illustration on the envelope and this LISA pay tribute to a famous soldier and aviator, Albert Deullin, born in 1890 in Épernay and died in 1923 (100 years ago) in Villacoublay in a plane accident while he was on board a "De Marçay" airplane during a test session.
Albert Deullin, with 20 official aerial victories won during the First World War, is among the most important French aviation aces of the Great War.
His portrait as well as this aircraft "De Marçay" are featured on this LISA as well as a cancellation of May 25, 1947 put into circulation in Épernay on the occasion of the first "Rallye aérien en Champagne".
The 48th edition of this Marcophilex exhibition will take place in 2024 in Périgueux.
