"Paris 2024 Olympics" stamp set on cover from Kosovo

Série "Jeux olympiques Paris 2024" sur lettre du Kosovo 

Suite à la reconnaissance du comité national olympique du Kosovo par le Comité International Olympique (CIO) le 9 décembre 2014, ce pays a participé pour la première fois de son histoire aux jeux olympiques de Rio de Janeiro en 2016.
Le Kosovo participait donc pour la 3ème fois à des jeux olympiques en 2024, à Paris, organisés du 26 juillet au 11 août 2024.
9 athlètes (2 hommes, 7 femmes) étaient engagés à Paris, dans 4 sports : judo, boxe, athlétisme et natation.
Le 24 juillet 2024, la poste du Kosovo a mis en circulation une série (1 timbre + 1 bloc-feuillet) consacrée à cette 3ème participation du pays aux jeux olympiques de Paris 2024 ("Lojërat Olimpike Verore – Paris 2024"). 
Cette série complète a été utilisée pour affranchir la jolie lettre ci-dessous envoyée le 10 juin 2025 depuis la ville de Prizren, située dans le sud du pays. Merci beaucoup Sabri ! 
Following the recognition of the Kosovo National Olympic Committee by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) on December 9, 2014, the country participated for the first time in its history in the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games in 2016.
Kosovo was therefore participating for the third time in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, organized from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
Nine athletes (2 men, 7 women) were entered in Paris, in four sports: judo, boxing, athletics, and swimming.
On July 24, 2024, the Kosovo Post released a series (1 stamp + 1 souvenir sheet) dedicated to this country's third participation in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games ("Lojërat Olimpike Verore – Paris 2024").
This complete set was used to stamp the lovely cover below, sent on June 10, 2025, from the southern city of Prizren. Thank you very much, Sabri!  

Le judo féminin est une fois de plus à l'honneur sur cette série conçue par D. Luta (tirage : 3500), le bloc-feuillet (2€) évoquant également de façon symbolique la cérémonie d'allumage de la flamme olympique à Olympe (une prêtresse tient la flamme), celle-ci se transformant en anneaux olympiques.
Les couleurs du drapeau français figurent dans le fond sur ce bloc numéroté.
A Paris, le Kosovo a remporté 2 médailles (argent et bronze), à nouveau en judo féminin, grâce respectivement à Distria Krasniqi (championne olympique à Tokyo) et Laura Fazliu.
A noter que l'emblème du comité olympique du Kosovo est curieusement absent sur ces timbres (il figurait sur les timbres émis en 2016 pour les jeux de Rio...). 
Women's judo is once again in the spotlight in this series designed by D. Luta (print run: 3,500), the souvenir sheet (€2.00) also symbolically evoking the Olympic flame lighting ceremony on Olympia (a priestess holds the flame), which transforms into the Olympic rings.
The colors of the French flag appear in the background of this numbered souvenir sheet.
In Paris, Kosovo won two medals (silver and bronze), again in women's judo, thanks to Distria Krasniqi (Olympic champion in Tokyo) and Laura Fazliu respectively.
To note that the emblem of the Olympic Committee of Kosovo is curiously missing on these stamps (it appeared on the stamps issued in 2016 for the Rio Games...).
