"75 years since the birth of Petre Teodorovici" postmark on prepaid envelope from Moldova

TAD "75 ans de la naissance de Petre Teodorovici" sur enveloppe pré-timbrée de Moldavie 

Petre Teodorovici (1950-1997) était un compositeur et interprète de musique populaire, célèbre dans toute la République de Moldavie.
Diplômé du lycée musical de Leova, il a étudié le violon (1968), puis a étudié à l'École supérieure de musique Stefan Neaga, section solfège (et composition avec Eugen Doga), et à la Faculté de direction chorale de l'Institut des arts Gavriil Musicescu de Chișinău (1968-1973).
Il est ensuite devenu directeur du Centre de jeunesse Iuri Gagarin de Chișinău (1974-1975). Il a été directeur artistique des ensembles Bucuria de l'Orchestre philharmonique national (1975-1982), Ceremoș de l'Orchestre philharmonique de Tchernivtsi (1983-1984).
Au fil des ans, il a écrit plusieurs chansons qui sont rapidement devenues des succès populaires, notamment « Santa Maria Maggiore », « Notre écriture », « Rentre à la maison », « Romantica », « Dernière heure », « Été à Soroca », « Mes amis », « Seniorita Gratia », « Soir bleu », « Je viens des montagnes de Latinia », « Je t'aime, peuple roumain », « Basarabia », « Laissez les garçons de Bessarabie traverser le Prut », « Pourquoi ?», « Rose », « Adieu », « Amour éternel », « L'instant des mariés », « Irena ».
Beaucoup de ses chansons ont été composées sur des paroles de Grigore Vieru, Dumitru Matcovschi, Simion Ghimpu, Anatol Ciocanu, Ion Hadârcă et interprétées par Gheorghe Țopa, Nina Crulicovschi, Angela Ciumac, Ion Suruceanu, Anastasia Lazariuc, Nadejda Cepraga, Sofia Rotaru, Gabriel Dorobanțu et d'autres. 
Petre Teodorovici (1950-1997) was a composer and performer of popular music, renowned throughout the Republic of Moldova.
A graduate of the Leova Music High School, he studied violin (1968), then studied music theory at the Stefan Neaga Higher School of Music (and composition with Eugen Doga), and at the Faculty of Choral Conducting at the Gavriil Musicescu Institute of Arts in Chișinău (1968-1973).
He then became director of the Iuri Gagarin Youth Center in Chișinău (1974-1975). He was artistic director of the Bucuria ensembles of the National Philharmonic Orchestra (1975-1982) and the Ceremoș ensembles of the Chernivtsi Philharmonic Orchestra (1983-1984).
Over the years, he wrote several songs that quickly became popular hits, including “Santa Maria Maggiore”, “Our Writing”, “Come Home”, “Romantica”, “Last Hour”, “Summer in Soroca”, “My Friends”, “Seniorita Gratia”, “Blue Evening”, “I Come from the Mountains of Latinia”, “I Love You, Romanian People”, “Basarabia”, “Let the Bessarabian Boys Across the Prut”, “Why?”, “Rose”, “Farewell”, “Everlasting Love”, “The Bridegrooms’ Moment”, “Irena”.
Many of his songs were composed with lyrics by Grigore Vieru, Dumitru Matcovschi, Simion Ghimpu, Anatol Ciocanu, Ion Hadârcă and performed by Gheorghe Țopa, Nina Crulicovschi, Angela Ciumac, Ion Suruceanu, Anastasia Lazariuc, Nadejda Cepraga, Sofia Rotaru, Gabriel Dorobanțu and others. 

Ses chansons ont été interprétées lors de festivals de musique en Slovaquie, Finlande, Cuba, Argentine, Italie, Russie, Roumanie, Moldavie et ont été interprétées par des artistes célèbres de différents pays.
Petre Teodorovici a également écrit de la musique pour des films et des spectacles, comme pour la comédie musicale « Liola », basée sur la pièce de Luigi Pirandello.
En 1989, Petre Teodorovici a reçu le titre de Maître émérite des Arts, il a été fait Chevalier de l'Ordre de la Gloire du Travail en 1996. 
Le 17 mai 2025, la poste moldave a mis en circulation un TAD spécial consacré à Petre Teodorovici, à l'occasion du 75ème anniversaire de sa naissance.
Ce TAD (conception : Mihail Riga) a été appliqué par le bureau principal de Chișinău (MD-2012) sur l'enveloppe ci-dessus. Merci beaucoup Nicolae ! 
Cette enveloppe pré-timbrée (1,20 L, tirage : 20000, conception : Vitaliu Pogolşa) avait été mise en circulation le 18 mai 2010 pour commémorer le 60ème anniversaire de la naissance de Petre Teodorovici.
Nicolae a utilisé également 2 timbres identiques (5 L) faisant partie d'une jolie série (4 timbres) émise le 1er avril 2025, illustrant différentes espèces d'oiseaux chanteurs, une hypolaïs ictérine (Hippolais icterina) ici. 
His songs have been performed at music festivals in Slovakia, Finland, Cuba, Argentina, Italy, Russia, Romania, and Moldova, and have been performed by renowned artists from various countries.
Petre Teodorovici has also written music for films and stage productions, such as the musical "Liola", based on the Luigi Pirandello's play.
In 1989 Petre Teodorovici was awarded the title of Emeritus Master of the Arts and in 1996 he was made a Knight of the Order of Labour Glory. 
On May 17, 2025, the Post of Moldova issued a special postmark dedicated to Petre Teodorovici, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of his birth.
This postmark (design: Mihail Riga) was applied by the main post office in Chișinău (MD-2012) to the envelope above. Thank you very much, Nicolae!
This prepaid envelope (1.20 L, print run: 20,000, design: Vitaliu Pogolşa) was issued on May 18, 2010, to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Petre Teodorovici's birth.
Nicolae also used two identical stamps (5 L) from a lovely set (4 stamps) issued on April 1, 2025, depicting different species of songbirds, including an Icterine warbler (Hippolais icterina) here.
