Timbre "Bohumil Heinz (1894-1940)" sur FDC de République tchèque 

Dans le cadre de sa série consacrée à la tradition tchèque de la conception des timbres-poste ("Tradice české známkové tvorby"), la poste tchèque a mis en circulation le 20 janvier 2025, un nouveau timbre (tarif permanent "B" - envoi domestique standard jusqu'à 50g en mode économique - 31 CZK actuellement, tirage : 400000) rendant hommage cette année au graveur et graphiste Bohumil Heinz (1894-1940).
Un grand merci Slavek pour le FDC officiel ci-dessous (tirage :  2200) concernant ce timbre (conception : Michal Novák), imprimé en feuille de 50 timbres (tirage : 400000) ainsi que dans un joli carnet (8 timbres + 4 vignettes, tirage : 9000 carnets) ! 
A noter le TAD Premier Jour (poinçon de graveur stylisé) de la ville de Rakovník, le lieu de naissance de Bohumil Heinz. 
As part of its series dedicated to the Czech tradition of postage stamp design ("Tradice české známkové tvorby"), the Czech Post released a new stamp (permanent rate "B" - standard domestic mail up to 50g in economy mode - 31 CZK currently, print run: 400,000) into circulation on January 20, 2025, paying tribute this year to the engraver and graphic artist Bohumil Heinz (1894-1940).

Ce timbre représente un portrait de Bohumil Heinz (vers 1918) ainsi que le motif (auteur :J. Köhler, graveur : Bohumil Heinz) d'une série de timbres tchécoslovaques émise en 1935 illustrant Cyrille et Méthode, connus comme "les Apôtres des Slaves", c'est-à-dire ceux qui ont évangélisé les peuples slaves de l'Europe centrale au 9ème siècle.
Bohumil Heinz était un graphiste et graveur tchèque qui a grandement contribué à la qualité artistique et technique des timbres gravés sur acier. À partir des années 1930, il a conçu et gravé des dizaines de timbres tchécoslovaques. Son art de la gravure était reconnu dans son pays comme à l'étranger. Tout au long de sa vie, il a créé des œuvres remarquables, appréciées des experts comme du grand public. 
Heinz a également conçu des billets de banque et gravé des timbres pour d'autres administrations postales, comme la Grèce, la Suède, la Nouvelle-Zélande.
Un timbre tchécoslovaque avait déjà été émis en 1984 en son honneur (90 ans de sa naissance) à l'occasion de la Journée du timbre. 
This stamp depicts a portrait of Bohumil Heinz (circa 1918) and the drawing (designer: J. Köhler, engraver: Bohumil Heinz) from a series of Czechoslovakian stamps issued in 1935 depicting Cyril and Methodius, known as "the Apostles of the Slavs," those who evangelized the Slavic peoples of Central Europe in the 9th century.
Bohumil Heinz was a Czech graphic artist and engraver who greatly contributed to the artistic and technical quality of steel-engraved stamps. Beginning in the 1930s, he designed and engraved dozens of Czechoslovak stamps. His engraving skills were renowned both at home and abroad. Throughout his life, he created remarkable works, appreciated by experts and the general public alike.
Heinz also designed banknotes and engraved stamps for other postal administrations, such as Greece, Sweden, and New Zealand.
A Czechoslovakian stamp was issued in his honor in 1984 (90th anniversary of his birth) on the occasion of the Stamp Day.
